Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 647

Serene slept for a full night. When she woke up, she sat up in her bed and did some stretches before a delicious scent from the kitchen caught her attention.

It smelled like chicken soup.

That smell instantly woke her slumbering stomach up.

Serene pulled the covers aside, put on her slippers and immediately dashed to the kitchen excitedly.

Wilson was standing by the countertop. He was on the phone with someone while paying attention to the soup he was making.

Who exactly was he talking to this early in the morning?

Just as Serene was about to enter, she could hear Wilson speak…

“Serene is pregnant now so I won’t be able to come and visit you these days.”

That was odd. Who was he meeting? Could it be Ruby?

However, not long after he hung up the call, he made another phone call.

Heaton had not woken up yet when he received Wilson’s call. However, Verian was already awake. Little Jelly Bean who was dressed in Snoopy pajamas climbed into her father’s arms while holding onto a tablet as she played a game with her father.

Heaton took a glance at the Plants Vs Zombies game displayed on Little Jelly Bean’s tablet while he was talking on his phone. He asked in a lazy voice, “Hey, is your Serene is inviting me over to your place for a game of cards again?”

Wilson immediately replied, “Heaton Fudd, I’ll have you know that my Serene is currently pregnant so don’t you dare act so smug in front of me next time. You have children, so do I.”

Serene was speechless as she stood by the kitchen.

Was Wilson really that happy! He actually called all of his friends and family about her pregnancy early in the morning!

Heaton raised his brows and said, “Such speed though! However, you wanted a daughter and maybe my son might actually marry her someday.”

Wilson raised his brows and said, “If your son dare snatch my daughter away, don’t blame me for being mean to your son. However, my child might actually turn out to be a son. You’ll have to tell your Jelly Bean to be careful then.”

Heaton took a glance at Little Jelly Bean who was playing a game beside him and said, “I’m sorry to burst your bubble but my Jelly Bean will never date anyone younger than her.”

Wilson was speechless.

After the phone call ended, Little Jelly Bean looked up with her little face at Heaton and asked, “Daddy, why am I not going to date anyone younger?”

“You’ll understand when you’re older. Hurry, the zombies are coming. Plant something.”

When Verian was just about to call the father and daughter duo down for breakfast, she immediately noticed the both of them playing a game in bed.

“Heaton, didn’t you tell me that playing with my phone in bed will be bad for my eyes? Look at you now, playing a game with Jelly Bean in bed.”

Little Jelly Bean had just completed a level as Heaton immediately kept the tablet. He said, “Alright now, hurry up and get up to brush your teeth. We’ll be having breakfast soon.”

Little Jelly Bean pouted her lips but she still got out of bed obediently.

Verian reached out and held onto Little Jelly Bean’s hand. She said, “Come on now, Jelly Bean, I’ll brush your teeth.”

Heaton followed behind as he told Verian while hugging her, “Did you know that Serene’s pregnant already?”

Verian was stunned. She said in a puzzled tone while squeezing toothpaste for Little Jelly Bean, “No? Serene is pregnant? How did you know?”

Heaton scoffed and said, “Wilson called me first thing in the morning just to brag about it.”

Verian stared at him with a funny look and said, “It seems Dr. Jarret sure is happy. I’ll have to give Serene a call later just to congratulate her.”

As Heaton stared at the woman’s face, and a sudden thought came into his mind as he grinned. He whispered into her ear, “Honey, why don’t we make a third child?”

Verian was speechless.

A third child? Did he actually think that she was a mother pig?! She had sworn to herself while she was giving birth to Little Pickle that she would never give birth to another child again in her lifetime!
