Yanni and Lucy finished their beef ramen in the restaurant. Yanni spoke as soon as Lucy put down her chopsticks, "Are you done eating? Let's go if you're done."

Lucy frowned slightly. She just finished her food and wanted to take a rest but Yanni did not let her do so. Hence, she kept quiet and followed Yanni into the car.

Sitting in the backseat, Lucy thought Yanni wanted to bring her back to her school, but the car was heading out of town.

"Yanni, where are you bringing me?"

The man pursed his lips and spoke in a cold voice, "I want to take a walk around the city."

Afraid that Lucy might get suspicious, Yanni added, "The principal gave you a day off and you've been hanging out with me since this morning anyway. You don't mind accompanying me for the rest of the day, do you?"

Lucy gritted her teeth. That man was unbelievable! She was a pregnant lady and he wanted her to accompany him for the whole day! What a thick-faced guy!

However, Lucy had no other choice as it was an order from the principal. Yanni donated five million bucks to Zephyr Primary School, so he was a very important guest. He was not a man to be trifled with.

"Yanni, I can accompany you for the whole day today, but please stop disturbing me after today!"

Yanni pursed his lips and kept quiet.

It took them over an hour to reach the city from York County.

Lucy was sleeping soundly in the car. River called her when they arrived at the city.

“Lulu, the principal told me that you went to the city with President Quain. It's pretty late now though, why are you not back yet?"

Lucy bit her lips and looked at the man sitting in the passenger seat. She explained to River, "Oh, President Quain said he wanted to walk around the city for a bit, so we're in the city now. I'll probably be back by 5 in the afternoon."

River complained, "Why didn't President Quain ask me to accompany him if he wants to walk around the city? Can't he see that you're pregnant? How can he make a pregnant lady walk the whole day?"

It was hard for her to explain everything in the car so she simply said, "Well, that's it. I'm hanging up now."

Yanni let out a cold hum after she hung up the phone. His gaze met Lucy's gaze through the rear view mirror. "Why didn't you tell him that President Quain is your man? You don't have the guts to do so?"
