Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 949

Boyle cleaned up the dishes and put them into the dishwasher after they finished their dinner.

Something soft came hugging him from the back when he was about to wipe the table with a rag.

“Why are you ignoring me? Are you angry because I blocked Dr. Shania?”

Boyle frowned and tried to hide all the emotions in his eyes. He caressed her hands which were wrapped around his waist and said, “I’m not angry.”

Cherie hugged him tightly.

Boyle’s head hurt looking at the woman in his embrace. He wanted to get away from her so he could unblock Shania and call her.

Cherie lifted her head to look at him. “Can you quickly finish cleaning the tables?”

“What’s wrong?”

Cherie snuggled into his embrace, hugged his waist and said, “I want you to kiss me and hug me.”

Boyle’s heart trembled. He threw the rag away and washed his hands in the sink. Suddenly, he bent down and carried her.

Cherie looked at him with her beady eyes and said, “Are you done?”

Boyle said firmly as he walked upstairs with her in his arms, “I don’t feel like cleaning anymore. Let’s take a shower.”

Boyle took a box of condom as he passed by the sofa.

Water splashed from the bathtub in the bathroom.

Seven years of not touching each other was enough to ignite their lust at one touch.

The bathroom was filled with sparks as though they wanted to burn up the pool of water.

Boyle opened his eyes when their lust reached the peak. He stared affectionately at the precious woman in his arms. Then, he mumbled into the woman’s ear with his hoarse voice, “Cherie.”

Cherie looked at him with misty eyes as she said, “Boyle, you’re mine. You can’t gang up with other people to bully me.”

Boyle held her tightly in his embrace. He took over her whole body without staring into her eyes.

The room was filled with spilled water.

It was two hours later when they came out of the bathroom.

Boyle wrapped Cherie in a towel and carried her out of the bathroom.

Exhausted, she leaned against Boyle’s embrace and let him dry her hair with a dry towel.

Cherie was bored. She stared at Boyle’s chest and poked his chest with her fair, soft, and slender fingers.

Boyle wanted to say something to her, but he never said it. He looked at the woman in his arms. Then, he lowered his head, pressed a kiss on her forehead, eyes and said, “Are you tired?”

Cherie shook her head.

Boyle held her as he rested one of his elbows on the bed. He took Andersen’s fairy tales from the nightstand and asked, “What story do you want to listen to today?”

Cherie leaned against his embrace, closed her eyes and said, “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”

Boyle’s deep voice sounded like a lullaby. He patted her back gently as he read her the story and put her to bed.

Soon after, Cherie was feeling sleepy. She mumbled with her eyes half-closed, “They can’t see the Emperor’s new clothes, but I can see it.”

Boyle lowered his head and rubbed his face against Cherie’s. He smiled dotingly at her and said, “That means you're very clever.”

“It doesn’t matter whether the Emperor has clothes on or not as long as he’s happy.”

Boyle was kind of in a daze as he replied, “Yes, as long as he’s happy.”

It was just like how she could see Little Bean Sprout when others could not. Speaking frankly, why did it even matter?

As long as she was happy.

However, Shania’s word kept ringing in his ear like a curse, “If Cherie is not hospitalized right away, her suicidal tendencies will become more obvious and she would attempt suicide more frequent. Boyle, do you want Cherie to suffer forever?”

Boyle closed his eyes and let out a deep breath.

Cherie was almost asleep. She spoke in a cute voice, “Boyle, I noticed that Little Bean Sprout’s backpack was dirty the other time. She has been using that red backpack for quite some time. Why didn’t her mum get her a new one?”
