Since both Boyle and Cherie did not have any relatives to visit during the spring break, the duo went to the Fudd family home to have a meal with her family before returning home to sleep.
Both Boyle and Cherie could be considered as a hermit.
Huntley and Whitney decided to take a trip down to North City to have fun with Cherie and Boyle on the sixth day of the spring break.
The four of them were playing cards and chatting with each other in the huge mansion.
Huntley said while he played his card, "It sure is freeing getting out for a break. Man, having a child sure is something, alright. Whitney and I basically have zero private time with each other anymore. That little rascal kept crying for milk all day."
Whitney rolled her eyes at him as she said, "Who was it that kept nagging at me about wanting a child? Oh, so now you're regretting after having a child? What is wrong with you mister? You sure are one difficult man to please."
Huntley replied, "What are you talking about? You're basically the one who wears the pants at home. I'm just the servant."
Cherie had drawn a pretty amazing card and was feeling extremely ecstatic over it, so she rushed them with a poker face and said, "Hurry up and play."
Whitney played a king while there were six cards remaining in Huntley's hand. He was holding onto two of clovers and a straight, so he was unable to take them apart. Since the king of clovers was already out, this meant the remaining three king cards were in the other three players' hands.
However in this situation, the only thing he could play was a two of clovers.
"Come on now, two of clovers."
Whitney glared at him and said, "Huntley Scott, am I even your wife? I am holding onto a series of small cards in my hand. Can't you just go easy on me?"
"My dear wife, there is no mercy even if we're a married couple when it comes to gambling."
“Fair point.”
Huntley waved the remaining five cards in his hand and said, "Are you guys going to do something or pass the turn? If you guys are passing, I'll follow up with two extra cards then."
Cherie immediately threw a two of spades onto the pile.
Huntley was speechless.
Cherie exclaimed, "It's a big one alright. Can anyone counter this?"
Whitney replied, "Oh no, I can't do a thing to that."
Huntley said, "Whoa, the final two cards has to be a double play. Boyle, you're holding onto a full set of cards there, don't you have any bombastic power plays?"
Boyle was holding onto a set of tens in the series of cards in his hand. However, he kept his cards away and said, "Sigh, I can't do a thing to that, so go ahead."
Cherie played two fives and won the game.
Boyle closed his cards and shoved it into the pile. However, Huntley was unconvinced by him and took his cards out of the pile.
"Let me see just what kind of cards you have in hand, Boyle. You never played a single card, so you must be hiding something."
However, Boyle had already mixed his cards into the pile and all Huntley could find were a series of smaller value cards.
Huntley felt suspicious, so he said, "You wouldn't have actually gone easy on Cherie now, would you Boyle?"
Boyle replied with a carefree tone, "What if I've actually gone easy on my wife? It's not like I'm going easy on your wife anyway so why do you even care?'
Huntley was speechless from Boyle's remark.
Whitney decided to fan the flames as she said, "You should really learn from Boyle, Huntley. Look at how he treats his wife."
Huntley exclaimed, "Oh my god, it's pointless playing with you guys. I'm not playing anymore."
Just as Huntley was about to stand up and leave the game, he was pulled back by Whitney as she said, "Sit your *ss down for me and learn from him. Learn about how he treats his wife."
Huntley replied, "Why don't you learn to treat your husband better then?"
Whitney snapped back at him, "Huntley, the ancient days are long gone and we live in the 21st century and women have rights now. You should really get with the times, you know."
Huntley sighed and said, "Being a man is too difficult now. Boyle, as a man yourself, you should really say something to defend our manly rights."
