After much thought, Sean concluded that Adam's reasoning made a lot of sense. Since Brad didn't know how to make Nadine happy, Sean might as well help him out.

Even though Brad wasn't good at much else, he was quite the looker at the very least. Nice to look at, if nothing else.

Initially, Sean wanted to help Brad. But after hearing the latter's complaints, Sean became unhappy. He spouted a long string of words, leaving Brad speechless and unable to say anything in return. Sean was absolutely right.

In their six years of marriage, Brad had never done housework. He never cared whether Nadine was happy or not, and he never bothered learning about her. Looking back on everything that had happened, he suddenly became curious about Nadine's past.

After a moment of thought, Brad asked Sean, "What does your mommy like the most?" Only now did he realize just how little he knew about Nadine. In fact, he barely knew anything at all.

Sean pouted. "Why should I tell you?" Brad had been so mean to him earlier. Why would Sean tell him anything? Besides, wasn't Tyler pursuing Nadine? Why not give Tyler a chance instead?

Seeing that Sean was willing to talk to him, Brad's eyes twinkled as he immediately began making promises. "If you tell me, I'll take you to Ocean Land to see the beluga whales.

"Of course, if there's anything else you want, just let me know. As long as I can make it happen, I will."

With such an offer, Sean was naturally happy. Clapping his hands, he asked, "Does this count as betraying Mommy for personal gain? If so, it'll hurt my conscience." He then placed both hands on his chest, his face full of mischief.

Brad quickly added, "I'll also get you a set of action figures. The one you want most." He believed that with enough temptation, no wall could remain unbreached.

Sean's eyes lit up even more. His head bobbed as he grinned widely. "It's a deal, then. I'll tell you. Mommy's favorite thing is…"
