As punishment for her unruly behavior at Sean's birthday party, Gigi was confined in the back room of Hamilton Estate.

Brad pulled the plug on her allowance and reclaimed a good portion of the luxury items she had purchased. He dumped them on the street for others to get their hands on. To add insult to injury, he had people film the whole scene and sent her a video of the incident.

It was more painful to watch her beloved luxury goods being discarded like worthless junk than if someone had pushed her and ground her face against the pavement.

After realizing how badly he'd failed in raising his daughter properly, Daniel ordered the housekeepers to starve her by giving her just one meal a day. Evelyn wasn't allowed to visit her, and anyone who let her out without his approval would be dismissed immediately.

On the very first day of her confinement, a housekeeper opened the door to let Evelyn in to see her. When Daniel found out, she was fired on the spot.

From then on, none of the housekeepers dared to help Evelyn. The most they could do was relay a few words back and forth.

Gigi had been living like this for ten days now. She was so hungry that her whole body felt feeble, her legs felt like jelly, and she could barely muster the strength to speak.

What angered her the most was that her brother and father hadn't just locked her up—they'd humiliated her in the worst way possible. One stripped her of her freedom, while the other destroyed every luxury item she held dear.

Gigi cried herself dry in the back room, wasting away until she was nothing but skin and bones.

Technically, she wasn't supposed to have access to a phone. However, Evelyn had her ways and managed to get one smuggled in through a housekeeper. It was the only thing that brought her a sliver of joy during her confinement.
