Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 581

Jean despised Nadine so much that she wished every imaginable curse upon her. Little did she know that Brad was standing beyond her hospital room door at that moment. All the insults she hurled at Nadine landed squarely in his ears.

Brad, who was usually calm and collected, finally snapped. He kicked the door open and marched straight toward the bed where Jean lay.

Jean hadn't even had a chance to wipe the twisted expression off her face when she suddenly locked eyes with Brad, who had abruptly barged in. Startled, she bolted upright in bed, her face as pale as a sheet.

As soon as she looked at him—radiating hostility—she lost all her composure. Her eyes were wide, filled with nothing but panic.

Fear gripped her when she met Brad's blazing gaze. She scrambled out of the hospital bed and stood barefoot on the cold, hard tiles.

She looked up at him in sheer terror, her lips quivering as she struggled to find her voice. She hadn't expected him to burst in like that. She was so scared that she seemed to forget how to breathe.

Brad stood in front of the bed, leaning slightly forward. He looked down at Jean, who was shaking uncontrollably with anxiety. His gaze was as frigid as ice. There was no trace of sympathy or warmth in those eyes.

His face was dark with anger, his expression grim. Rage simmered beneath the surface, evident from the taut muscles on his forearms and the veins bulging across his clenched fists. It was obvious he was struggling to keep his temper in check.

His chest heaved as waves of anger crashed over him like tides. The air around him seemed to freeze, and the low pressure in the hospital room made it hard to breathe.
