Just when she thought he was about to let go of her, Brad suddenly hugged her and said with a trembling voice, "This isn't forgiveness. You're just trying to brush me off! Real forgiveness should not end this way. Real forgiveness is you coming home with me."

It was only at this moment that Brad finally understood what Adam had said to him.
