Jennifer was stumped. She turned away, avoiding Brad's penetrating gaze.

Brad ignored her and took a few steps forward. When he noticed David tense up, he stopped dead in his tracks and raised his hands.

"Nadine doesn't look too well, Mr. Gentry. Her face is pale, and she's lost the ability to talk. It looks like she's having a hypoglycemic episode. Why don't you let me take her place as your hostage? If you're willing to do that, I can throw in an extra million for you."

David's eyes gleamed at the prospect of an extra million. Without a second thought, he agreed. "Alright, let's do it! But you have to remove your watch and belt first. Toss them on the ground."

Samuel's eyes gleamed with greed as he looked at the beautiful Patek Philippe watch. After picking it up, he immediately slid it onto his wrist and turned to his father. "Dad, this watch looks amazing! Do you think it looks good on me?"
