When Brad left Adam's hospital room, he already had everything planned out. He had called the cops and brought his bodyguards with him. After all, there was a huge crowd, and things were chaotic.

The police had strict orders to disperse the crowd and ensure no innocent bystanders were harmed. Brad's only target was David, and he had no intention of harming anyone else. Therefore, he had been stalling for time.

It wasn't until the undercover police officers had replaced all the onlookers and given him a signal that he finally made his move. As soon as he saw the knife hover over Nadine's neck, he lunged forward and swung his fist hard at David's face.

From the moment he showed up, Brad had wanted to beat David senseless. How dare he touch Nadine; he had to have a death wish!

Nadine had no idea that Brad would take action. As soon as she saw him attack David, she quickly turned and ran in the opposite direction.

But the couple underestimated David's brazenness. Despite taking a punch from Brad that left his face swollen and his eyes barely open, he wildly swung his knife in one last desperate attempt. Like a madman, he aimed for Nadine's back.
