Brad stood there with his head hung low, as if he had been deeply wronged. His expression was heartbreaking.

The way he stood there, with his lips pressed together like he was about to cry, reminded Nadine so much of how Sean looked whenever he felt wronged. It stirred her maternal instincts and made her feel as though she wanted to nurse him. "Get in first!" she said through gritted teeth.

Brad, looking like a giant, sulking puppy, obediently shuffled into the bathroom. He lowered his head, looking woefully small and helpless. His bandaged arm and hospital gown made him look so fragile that even a dog would've wanted to give him a treat.

Memories of their intimate moments flooded back as she watched Brad enter the bathroom, causing her ears to heat up. She knew he was up to no good, but she hadn't expected him to sink this low. He was definitely attempting to make her remember their past by forcing her to join him in the restroom.

In the third year of their marriage, when Sean started kindergarten, she finally had some time to herself. One morning, after dropping Sean off, she came home to find Brad standing in the bathroom, casually taking care of business with the door wide open.

While she still had her eyes covered, he approached her and swiftly pulled her into the bathroom. He turned on the shower and swept her into a whirlwind of passion beneath the cascading water. It was a wild time. She had screamed his name over and over, completely lost in the moment.
