Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 637

Brad leaned onto Nadine's shoulder, putting most of his weight on her. "Help me to the bathroom. I need to pee."

With most of his weight resting on her, he lowered his voice, inching closer to Nadine. His thin lips parted slightly, brushing lightly against her earlobe, and she couldn't tell if he was doing this intentionally or not.

In this position, she had no way to evade him. Nadine could only feel a fleeting warmth on her earlobe, like a wandering dragonfly skimming the surface of the water—too quick to grasp. Yet, that brief sensation was undeniably real.

Her earlobes were sensitive, and when Brad's warm breath brushed against it, she felt a shiver run down her spine. Her heart raced, and she froze in place, unsure of what to do.

Nadine couldn't help but voice her frustration. "Could you please stand properly? If you keep this up, I won't look after you anymore!" Regardless of whether he did that intentionally or not, he had crossed a line.

Brad had hoped that by being more intimate with her, he could strengthen their relationship. However, instead of bringing them closer, he ended up upsetting Nadine. Realizing his mistake, he quickly backed down and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to. It was an accident. If it bothers you, you can hit me."

When he leaned in earlier, he noticed the way her brows knit together. He was well aware of what that expression meant. She didn't want him near her and hated any sort of intimate interaction.

Since he sincerely apologized, Nadine couldn't bring herself to stay mad at a patient. Even if his actions had been intentional, she decided to chalk it up as an accident.

Letting him rest against her, she helped him to the bathroom. Even though Brad looked thin, he was all muscle and bone, which made him surprisingly heavy. By the time they reached the bathroom door, she was out of breath.
