The onlookers gasped, eyes popping wide.

As soon as those words were spoken, a deathly silence fell over the party hall. The shockwave of this revelation rippled through the crowd.

Cathy’s face turned ghostly pale, contorted with terror and despair. Her legs trembled violently, nearly giving way beneath her. She would have collapsed if Bryan hadn’t caught her firmly, keeping her upright.

Bryan’s face turned livid, barely containing his fury. Through gritted teeth, he said, “Sophia, I was willing to overlook this because of your age, but you really-”

Before he could finish, Sophia cut him off sharply, “Grace Hospital, Andrology Department.”

Bryan’s jaw dropped.

Sophia pressed on sharply, “Their medicine failed you, Mr. Turner. I bet you’ve tried every famous doctor and herbal remedy under the sun. So, tellme- did any of it actually work?”

Bryan opened his mouth, but no words came out. His face twisted with humiliation and rage–he was utterly speechless.

The onlookers gasped in shock. They stared at Sophia’s stunningly beautiful face, stunned by her cruelty.

Bryan’s face cycled between livid pallor and sickly green, his features twisting into an uncontrollable snarl. His eyes darkened with venomous fury, as if harboring a raging inferno. Even for someone as composed as him, this was the moment his restraint finally shattered.

Seeing the situation escalate, Frank and Megan stepped in to defuse the tension and change the subject. “Today’s party is for our daughter,” they announced. “We hereby declare that the engagement between her and Jerome is officially annulled. From now on, they’ll go separate ways.”

The gossip–engrossed guests suddenly felt a pang of guilt. They got so caught up in the drama that they nearly forgot they were at a party. While everyone pretended not to stare at Cathy and Bryan, their attention remained glued to the couple.

Grim–faced, Bryan helped Cathy away, but not before shooting Sophia a look of chilling menace.

Sophia’s lips curled into a smirk as she tilted her head slightly, eyebrow arched in silent challenge. Their gazes locked–sharp as blades, crackling with tension like drawn bows ready to snap.

Bryan finally tore his gaze away, face dark with fury. Without a word, he roughly grabbed Cathy by the arm and dragged her out.

Dorian glanced between Sophia and Bryan thoughtfully. “Sophia, wanna go check it out?”

Sophia caught the eager gleam in Dorian’s eyes and immediately knew what he was scheming. She gave him a knowing smile. “Go on then,” she said.

Dorian invited not only Sophia but also Maelis.

Maelis looked bewildered. “Huh? What?”

Dorian rolled his eyes at her clueless look. “Just come along and you’ll see,” he said, a bit exasperated. With years of gossip–chasing experience, he just knew there was something big waiting if they followed.

The newly–formed gossip trio slipped out, thinking no one was paying attention. Little did they know, every move they made was being watched by the rest of the crowd, who only pretended not to care.

The gossip trio led the way, with the gossip–hungry crowd following in silent agreement. Then, they witnessed Bryan suddenly shove Cathy aside and deliver a stinging slap across her face.

The slap sent Cathy sprawling to the ground.

Bryan’s face twisted into a monstrous snart, his murderous glare fixed on Cathy. He foared, “Didn’t I tell you to stop stirring up troublet you mi watch your words and actions.

“You knew damn well Sophia’s a fucking freak–so why the hell did you have to mess with her? You did it on purpose, didn’t you? You just wanted everyone to know I’m a fucking worthless loser, right?”

The onlookers gasped, “Holy shit. This is wild.”

Dorian glanced at Sophia and asked, “Hey Sophia, does that count as domestic violence?”

Before Sophia could say a word, Maelis cut in, “Of course it is.”

Sophia shot Maelis a complicated look, a mix of exasperation and amusement flickering in her eyes.

Maelis looked oddly excited. “Did he just call himself a worthless loser? Isn’t that basically a self–own?”

Dorian parroted her, “Of course it does.”

Maelis exclaimed, “See? People with physical issues can just snap. He always seemed like the perfect, gentle husband and dad–who would’ve thought he could turn out so scary?” She thought, ‘This just proves it–staying away from men is definitely the safest bet!

Dorian chimed in, “Exactly. These freaks are masters at hiding their true colors. If it weren’t for Sophia, who would’ve ever suspected his son wasn’t even his biological kid?”

The onlookers suddenly realized, ‘Forget about whether he’s a psycho or not–where did that son even come from? Bryan is the Turner family’s only heir, born with azoospermia, yet he’s got a son who looks just like him.’

Everyone’s first thought was that it must be connected to Bryan’s father. But then they realized—his father had passed away three decades ago.

Bryan’s son was only twenty–five. Soon, they found the gossip rather mind–bending.

After taking out his anger on Cathy, Bryan roughly grabbed her, shoved her into the car, and sped off.

The gossip was far from over, and all eyes zeroed in on the source–Sophia–eager to hear the rest.

Sophia lowered her gaze and turned away, finding a quiet corner to sit down.

Dorian noticed Sophia seemed a bit off and asked gently, “Sophia, are you tired?”

Sophia shook her head. “I’m fine.”

Sophia shook her head with a sly smile. “Aren’t you all dying to know who Cathy’s son really is?”

Dorian’s eyes lit up and he nodded eagerly like a woodpecker. “Yes. Tell us.”

The crowd buzzed with excitement, dozens of eyes glinting with gossip–hungry curiosity as they all turned to stare.

Sophia smirked and shrugged. “I don’t know, either”

The onlookers were speechless.

Dorian suddenly had an epiphany, his eyes lighting up. “Oh, so this is just the free sample–the premium scoop comes later, and that’s bound to be even juicier.”
