Chapter 175
Cassius’s face turned dark. He said firmly, “Sophia, I won’t lower myself to your level. But you’d better watch your tone?
Sophia sneered, grabbing the gift box from Cassius’s secretary and throwing it at Cassius. “If it weren’t for the Moores, Jonathan wouldn’t be in this
condition.”
Sophia glared at Cassius and snapped, “You raised a disgraceful daughter who slept with her own uncle, and now you want my brother to be the hid dad? How dare you act so righteous? Get out!”
Cassius froze, his face getting darker with anger. Never before had a junior dared to scold him like this.
Cassius snapped, “Jonathan, you’ve definitely raised a remarkable daughter.”
Sophia scoffed. She lifted her chin proudly, her whole body showing confidence. “Of course! Not just anyone deserves a daughter as special as me least of all someone like you.”
Cassius’s chest heaved with anger, his face turning red. He gave Jonathan a final glare and sneered, “Since that’s how it is, there’s nothing more to say. You’ll regret this, Mr. Chandler.”
With that, he stormed out with his secretary behind him. As soon as they left, Jonathan started coughing again–this time, even worse than before.
Sophia turned to Jonathan with a smirk and said, “Jonathan, I’ve already chased that shameless guy away. He doesn’t deserve respect–if he shows up again, I’ll scold him. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back.”
Jonathan shot her a stare, coughing so hard his face turned red before finally spitting out a mouthful of blood.
“Jonathan!” Sophia gasped. “Relax, it’s just spitting blood. You’ll get used to it after a few more times.”
After spitting out blood, Jonathan shivered and looked at her. Sophia smiled playfully, “Are you trying to praise me? Don’t worry, I’ll keep track. You can thank me properly once you recover.”
Jonathan lay on the hospital bed, gasping for air and looking totally worn out. Yvette gloated, “Sophia, you’re dead. You just made an enemy of the Moore family.”
Sophia scoffed, “So what if I upset them? As if I’d be scared of the Moore family.”
Yvette smirked, “Don’t tell me you don’t know–the Moore family is about to make a marriage deal with the Dawson family. The wedding will be soon.”
Sophia shot her a cold look and sneered, “What are you so happy about? Anyone would think you’re the one marrying into the Dawson family.”
“Oh, right,” Sophia said with a smirk, “how’s it going between you and Zachary? I heard that since he got suspended, he’s been stuck at home and hasn’t gone outside. Haven’t you ever visited him?”
Yvette choked, her face darkening. She snapped, “It’s none of your damn business!”
Sophia stepped closer, making Yvette instinctively pull back. With a mocking smile, Sophia said, “Looks like you’ve never even been there–I bet the Dawson family doesn’t even welcome you.”
Sophia snatched Yvette’s wig off again. “Aren’t you hot wearing a wig in this heat?” she sneered.
“I gotta admit, I really like your bald head–it’s actually pretty. And that unstoppable spirit of yours? Keep it up. I’m rooting for you,” Sophia said with a teasing smile.
Yvette crouched on the ground, covering her bald head with both hands, crying badly.
Just then, James messaged Sophia, sending over the contract with Bryan. It was ready for her signature if she had no objections.

Chapter 175
Sophia looked over the contract and texted: All good. I’ll be there.)
Knowing Jonathan was in the hospital, Bryan didn’t want to bother her at first, But since his own matter was urgent, he had no chaare van meeting near the hospital.
After leaving the hospital, Sophia crossed the street and went straight into a nearby cafe, where James and Bryan were already waiting for it.
“Sophia!” Bryan said as soon as he saw her, standing up and waving.
Sophia walked over and gave him a quick look. Though he still looked sick, there was a spark in his eyes. Flipping through the contract, she said. “Bryan, it’s not too late to back out if you’re having second thoughts.”

Bryan gave a bitter laugh and said, “As long as the family business doesn’t fall into their hands, I’d give it anyone.”
Seeing he was serious, Sophia signed without another word. After giving the contract to James, she smiled at Bryan and said, “Bryan, we’re family now Don’t worry—I won’t let you down.”
Bryan also smiled, but inside he wondered what tricks Sophia might have to deal with those people. Sophia didn’t let him down. She got straight to the point: “Bryan, did you know your dad left a will?”
Bryan was stunned. “My dad made a will?”
Sophia said, “Just as I thought–you really had no idea.”
Looking at Sophia closely, Bryan asked nervously, “Tell me what do you know? When did my dad make a will? Where is it now?”
Sophia said, “It’s in a safe deposit box at the bank. Your dad already gave you the key–just go home and look for it, you’ll find it. Once you open that box, you’ll get all the answers.”
In the original story, Bryan had a sad ending.
He only found out about the safe deposit box when he was almost dying. Whether it was opened or not, Sophia didn’t know–because by then, Bryan was already dead.
His mother, along with her mistress, his half–brother, took control of the Turner family and were happily living, while Bryan was left with nothing.
Hearing this, Bryan shot up from his chair, making it screech across the floor. Without saying goodbye, he ran out the door.
Sophia was calmly sipping her coffee when she looked up to see James staring at her intently.
She raised an eyebrow and asked, “What are you staring at?”
