Sophia felt super happy. She started humming a tune she didn’t even realize she’d heard in her dreams. Surprisingly, the thought it concuted niany bite
Just then, Dorian, Maelis, and Nadia showed up.
Sophia frowned a little. “What took you guys so long?“.
Maelis’s face lit up with excitement. “Sophia, you won’t believe what happened after you left the Moore family went totally crazy!”
Dorian cut in, “Rose ran away.”
Sophia acted like it was no big deal, which made the others curious. Dorian asked, “Sophia, did you know all along she’d run away?”
Sophia said, “So she ran off. What does that have to do with us?”
Maelis asked, “Sophia, do you actually know where she ran off to?”
Sophia kept a straight face. “No idea,” she said simply.
Maelis was about to ask more, but Dorian pulled her back. He said, “The Moores were supposed to come to the hospital, but since Rose ran away, they’l probably come tomorrow.”
Sophia nodded and looked at the time. Nadia nervously said, “I called Peggy and asked her to tell the dormitory supervisor we won’t be back.”
Sophia stretched and smiled, “Alright, it’s getting late. Let’s call it a night. If you want to see the drama, make sure you come early tomorrow.”
They all lived in Serene Estate and were going the same way–except for Nadia. After a quick pause, Sophia decided to drag Nadia back to Serene Estate
too.
After a good sleep, the four headed to the hospital together the next morning. Before they even went inside, they could already hear Yvette’s voice pretending to care while she talked badly about Sophia.
“Honestly, Sophia is unbelievable,” Yvette said. “Dad’s in the hospital, and she’s still arguing about money. Family love isn’t something you can buy with money, Dad.” Just then, Sophia pushed open the hospital room door.
Yvette jumped in fright and ran behind Heather, looking pale and scared, like she might cry any second.
Sophia said with a smile, “You’re totally right–family love can’t be bribed. So, just give away whatever Jonathan and Heather gave you, and I’ll take it
all.”
Jonathan rubbed his temples tiredly when he saw Sophia.
Sophia turned to Jonathan with a smirk. “So, how does it feel to have a daughter who treats money like trash? Proud of yourself, aren’t you?”
Looking pale and tired, Jonathan said tiredly, “Yvette didn’t mean it like that.”
Sophia grinned. “But I mean it. Since you all act so noble and above money matters, why don’t I inherit the Chandler Group?”
Yvette, scared Jonathan might agree, blurted out, You’re being way too greedy!”
Sophia shot her an annoyed look. “You want family love and I want money. How’s that greedy? Watch out, or I’ll sue you for slander.”
Startled, Yvette quickly moved behind Heather and gave Heather a little push, hoping she’d speak up. But Heather, tired from a sleeplessi moved away, clearly not in the mood to talk,
ust
Sophia sneered, “See how kind I am, Jonathan? I even brought my friends here to visit you.”

Chapter 174
Dorian, Maelis, and Nadia stood in a line and said, “Mr. Chandler, we came to see you?
Jonathan was pretty surprised he knew Dotian and Maelis well, but never thought they’d become close friends with Sophia, Doriae via the family’s heir and Evander’s younger brother.
Maelis grew up spoiled by her parents–the little princess of the Snow family. Jonathan couldn’t help but think about how much these I was fright b worth..
“Hey, Jonathan.” Sophia waved her hand in front of his face. “My friends say hi to you.”
Yvette sneered, “You brought nothing?”
Sophia scoffed. “Nadia, bring over that sandwich you bought.”
Nadia, called upon, placed the sandwich on the table. Maelis brought yogurt, and Dorian brought omelets. With a big smile, Sophia said, “Quite the spread, huh?”
Sophia narrowed her eyes at Yvette with a sly grin. Yvette tried to run, but Sophia quickly blocked her. “Sophia, what are you doing?” Yvette asked. trembling.
Sophia didn’t say anything. Instead, she gave Yvette a smile, then suddenly reached out and yanked off Yvette’s wig, Yvette screamed loudly and immediately grabbed her head in panic.
Maelis blurted out, “Whoa, she’s totally bald!”
Dorian said, “I saw her scalp.”
Nadia stayed quiet. Jonathan took a deep, tired breath. “That’s enough, Sophia,” he said.
Sophia rolled her eyes and threw the wig on the floor, her face twisted in disgust. “She asked for it.”
Jonathan didn’t say anything, just pressed his hand to his chest and started coughing. Instantly, Sophia took two steps back–and the other three quickly did the same, creating some distance from him.
Jonathan’s face darkened as he gritted his teeth. “Why are you all backing away?” he snapped. “Do I look like I’ve got some contagious disease or something?”
Sophia shot back, “I’m afraid you’ll fake an injury and blame me.”
