Lorraine felt like she was running out of breath. "Let me out."
She felt weak all over as she collapsed by the door. She felt as though there was a fire raging within her.
Then, she heard laughter coming from the opposite of the door. "She's inside?"
It sounded like a man's voice, and Lorraine's expression shifted drastically when she heard it. She stood up, trying to escape, but she found it difficult to even walk.
The creaking sound of the door opening sounded, and a man with a large head and big ears stood in the doorway. He was eagerly rubbing his hands together.
"Pretty one, I waited for you for a long time," he said.
Lorraine bit the tip of her tongue and tasted a hint of blood. "Get out!"
"Oh, you have a fiery temper. I like it."
When the door closed, Lorraine saw Gerald standing there with a sinister smile on his face.
"Move aside! Get lost, you bastards!" She took out the sharp blade she found in the drawer and waved it wildly in the air before her.
"Since you refused my kind gestures, then be prepared to face the consequences."
The man grew impatient and pressed Lorraine against the head of the bed.
"Let me go! Cole! Cole…" Lorraine shouted with all her might, hoping that I could hear her.
"No matter how loudly you scream, no one's coming to save you."
The man tugged hard with both his hands, and the already flimsy clothes on Lorraine's body were torn off.
She felt a chill run down her body. She had no time to cover herself with a blanket when the chubby man pressed against her.
"Don't worry. I'll make you feel comfortable—"
Before he could finish speaking, the man suddenly howled aloud. "Ah!"
His piercing voice almost shattered Lorraine's eardrums.
She had no time to see what had happened as she quickly pulled up the blanket beside her to cover herself.
Lorraine was shivering badly with fear, and she felt her body turn clammy. She was sweaty and burning up. A looming sense of death washed over her.
Her vision was blurry, and she receded to a corner where she felt safe. She hugged her chest with both arms as if that could give her a sense of security.
