"Sam, stop causing trouble," I said.

It only caused him to grow even more self-righteous, and he started to get louder. More and more people were gathering around us, so I positioned Lorraine behind me to protect her. "Call Murphy and have him come up."

I wouldn't have been worried if it were just me, but Lorraine was with me today. So, I had to be more careful.

"Be careful," Lorraine said. She understood Sam too well. He could get really reckless when he was agitated.

"Don't worry," I reassured her.

Lorraine knew that her pregnancy made it so that she couldn't act recklessly, so she hid in a corner to give Murphy a call.

"This is the hospital. Let's talk somewhere private," I suggested.

"Somewhere private?" Sam sneered as he let out a cold laugh. He put down the bag in his hand as he clapped his hands loudly.

With the crowd's attention, he started, "I want everyone to see how shameless you are. You're already a disgusting pair of adulterers in the first place, and you're actually having a child together? Aren't you afraid of the consequences?"

He laughed in a mocking manner. Behind me, Lorraine paled as she tried to explain, "Everyone, don't misunderstand. I have nothing to do with this man."

Some of them recognized Lorraine and me, and they started recording with their phones.

"Isn't he the father of that child celebrity?"

"Yeah, and now, his new wife is pregnant. What's going to happen to that kid?"

They discussed the matter amongst themselves with great interest as they pointed at us.

I glanced at Lorraine, feeling a pang in my heart. "Sam, if you really care about your sister, then don't take things too far."

He seemed intent on getting everyone in the crowd to condemn Lorraine.

I looked at his cold and expressionless face before letting out a laugh. "Aren't you afraid that your father will know you're at the hospital if you do this?"

Sam immediately stiffened as he looked around anxiously. "That's nonsense."

"Just look around. How many people are recording this? Your brother and father will know that you appeared in the hospital very quickly," I said.
