Nolan had just called Shaun unfaithful, unfilial, and vicious for bowing down to his enemy.
Those were certainly words of insult. One's reputation would've been ruined completely if they had been accused as such a person.
Now that Nolan had made such harsh comments about Shaun in front of everyone, Shaun's face became grim instantly. He felt irritated as though he had been exposed completely in front of everyone.
"Nolan, damn you! You know nothing! What did you mean by I bowed down to the enemy? What did you mean by I was unfaithful, unfilial, and vicious?
"You accused me as you wished just because you heard something. You definitely have a death wish!"
At this moment, Shaun was enraged. He pointed at Nolan and could no longer keep his temper in check.
As he spoke, Shaun wanted to slap Nolan in the face. However, Nolan lifted his left arm slightly and blocked Shaun's hand.
"What's wrong? Did I hit right at your sore spot? Was that why you were clutching at straws? Were you trying to beat me? Who do you think you are?"
With that, Nolan pushed forcefully and released his grip, making Shaun stumble a few steps backward, and he almost fell.
Instead of beating Nolan, Shaun felt a stronger urge to explain to everyone that he wasn't like what Nolan had said.
