Kara was extremely pleased. She had always been a proud woman who loved being the center of attention.

Although today was her birthday party, it seemed as though all eyes had been on Nolan, even when the attention he received was filled with malice and intended to humiliate him. She felt like her moment had been stolen.

"Don't worry. My senior will be here. I called him personally to confirm. Once he arrives, I'll make sure to introduce him to all of you," Kara declared proudly.

She then turned to a silent Nolan with a smug smile, lifting her chin as she said, "Nolan, you can deny everything, but my senior works at Myth Group's headquarters. If he confirms that the gift you presented is fake, you won't be able to deny it any longer."

Nolan nodded. "Logically, while someone from Myth Group's headquarters might not have seen or used the Spirit of Life Serum, they should still be able to tell if it's real or fake. But if they intentionally lie, there's nothing I can do."

Nolan merely voiced out a possibility, but everyone interpreted them as an attempt to argue his way out of the situation.

Kara sneered. "Lie? My senior is young, but he has already landed a job in Myth Group's headquarters, and his future is incredibly promising. What makes you think he would lie on your behalf? Honestly, you disgust me!"

Shaun shook his head and gave a quiet chuckle. "It's a pity Audrey actually likes you. It turns out that this is what you're really like."

Shaun sighed before continuing, "Nolan, if you can't keep up the act, just admit that you gave a fake gift and apologize to Kara. If you defer to her, perhaps she would forgive you.
