It was true. The name list of the Myth Group's clients was confidential. In fact, everything related to the company was confidential.
Leonard only wanted to look cool in front of Kara. That was why he said he could check Nolan's name.
He could actually look into it. However, from what he could tell, the serum was just a counterfeit, and there was no need to leak the name list.
But when he saw how confident Nolan looked, Leonard started losing his confidence.
"Who are you? How did you know our company had such strict rules?" Leonard asked.
Nolan sighed and said, "Is it really that hard to understand? Any big company would have strict policies on confidentiality, let alone the Myth Group. The Spirit of Life Serum could make countless people go mad. It wouldn't make sense if they don't keep the information locked tight, right?
"Besides, all of the Myth Group's customers are wealthy, so it's important to keep them a secret, no? I can't believe you would ask such a dumb question. Now, I'm wondering if you're actually working at the Myth Group and how you got into the company in the first place."
Leonard's face fell greatly, as if his secret was exposed.
He said, "I am working at the Myth Group, and you can look it up if you don't believe me. Do you really think there's a point in talking back to me, Nolan? Are you planning on provoking and confusing me so that I would let you go? You must be out of your mind!
"It's true that I can't leak the name list, but I'm not leaking anything by checking if you bought the serum. What's wrong? Are you scared?"
At that moment, Kara glared at Nolan and said angrily, "Haven't you humiliated us enough? Why are you making up stories, Nolan? If you admit that it's a counterfeit now, you can still save yourself from embarrassment. Otherwise, you'll just be humiliating yourself later.
