The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 305

Nolan sighed slightly, and his gaze turned cold.

He said, " I'm starting to regret not using poison at all! If I want you all dead, I could've done it whenever and wherever I want. I've been trying to do more good deeds recently, and I don't want to kill if I don't need to. But I've realized some people just don't deserve to live at all!"

That was the first time he had said something terrifying ever since he came out of prison.

It was unfortunate that those who knew his true identity weren't present that day. Otherwise, they would've recognized that Nolan was infuriated.

And that the consequences of angering him were incomprehensible.

Nolan slowly walked toward Leonard and reached out his hand. "Give me that!"

Leonard initially wanted to refuse. However, when he saw Nolan's cold gaze, he instinctively placed the bottle in his hand.

Nolan raised the glass bottle and scoffed. "This is the closest that everyone here will ever get to the Spirit of Life Serum. From now on, you won't have any chance to see it ever again!"

After saying that, he turned to Kara and asked coldly , "I'm asking you one last time—Are you sure you don't want this?"

She gritted her teeth and said, "It's just a poisoned counterfeit. I would be crazy to want it! Get rid of it now. It's an eyesore!"

He nodded and looked toward the entrance. There was a middle-aged woman taking out the trash, and her legs seemed to be hurt.

"Mr. Hance, is that one of your employees? She doesn't seem to be doing well," Nolan said.

Nick nodded. "The Norwich Group is a loving company. That's Jennifer Bloom. Even though it was inconvenient for her to move around, she still took in eight orphans.
