"Mr. Baxter, we're business partners. How can you do this?"
Archie looked at the crowd and laughed lightly. "Let's not play the relationship card now. If you really have ties to me, then the best thing you can do is obediently follow Mr. Greene's orders."
He scoffed and continued, "None of you are short of money, and let's face it, you're not saints either. Donating some of your wealth for a good cause sounds like a good deal to me."
Realizing that Archie was immovable, the crowd quickly shifted their focus to Nick. Earlier, when Lincoln confronted Ironhead's men, it was Nick who stepped in and resolved the situation. Now, Nick surely wouldn't turn a blind eye to them, right?
At the very least, Nick should be able to get these people out of the banquet hall.
"Mr. Hance, say something! This is happening in your hotel. Norwich Group can't just stand by and let this happen!"
"Yeah, Mr. Hance. This is outright bullying. Norwich Group has a responsibility to its customers."
Nick, who was about to leave, paused upon hearing the commotion. He turned back and faced the crowd, his tone cold as he spoke.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think Mr. Greene is doing anything wrong. You people could use a little moral realignment. Also, if any of you dare to spread malicious rumors about Norwich Group, we won't let you off so easily."
Nick then turned to Archie and smiled. "Mr. Baxter, feel free to reach out to me if you need any help. Here in Bellington, I have the final say in Norwich Group's matters. It's no problem to assemble a team to find out if these people have any hidden assets."
Archie grinned. "Many thanks, Mr. Hance. If needed, I'll definitely trouble you for assistance."
