Apologize to Megan? Nolan clenched his jaw, anger bubbling inside him. But with his furious father and the family who were all trying to persuade him to make up, he could only suppress his anger.
He was still Nolan. It was also true that he went through drastic changes. However, Nolan was just like a regular kid when it came to seeing his family again.
Nolan took a deep breath, gritting his teeth as he spoke, "Dad, you guys have no idea what happened, and you haven't even listened to my side of the story. Have you ever thought that maybe it wasn't my fault at all?"
Before Nolan could finish speaking, Wayne became even more mad.
"Why are you arguing over who's right and wrong between husband and wife? Even if Megan was wrong, what's the point? Hasn't she already apologized to you?
"You are a grown man, and you don't even have the slightest bit of kindness? What are you planning to do?
"Tell me, do you still consider yourself my son? If you don't want me as your dad, that's okay. I can leave this instant, and you can make your own decisions from now on."
After saying that, Wayne grabbed Melody's hand and retorted, "Why are we still here? Let's leave. We'll just act like we don't have a son anymore."
Nolan watched the scene unfold, feeling completely powerless. His frustration bubbled, but he couldn't find a way to express it.
He could only utter, "Dad, let's just say this is all my fault, okay? Please don't be like this anymore. I'm begging you."
He felt completely powerless, consumed by anger toward Megan. Megan's actions were despicable and shameless. How could she have the audacity to exploit his family?
This crossed a line for Nolan, and he would never forgive her for it.
