Nolan stepped in front of Liana, preventing her from stabbing with the dagger.
"Liana, you've always been kind-hearted, and from now on, no one will ever dare take advantage of that kindness. But this piece of shit is beneath you. He's not worth you dirtying your hands over. Let me take care of him, alright?"
Liana's eyes were burning with fury, but as she heard Nolan's words, she slowly began to calm down.
"Kill him, Nolan, kill him! I never want to see his face again!"
Nolan nodded quietly and replied, "Liana, killing him would be going too easy on him. No, I'll make sure he suffers a fate worse than death!"
Liana finally nodded, then spat in Tyler's direction. Only then did she walk over to her parents before breaking out in uncontrollable sobs.
Nolan slowly walked up to Tyler. He then sighed softly and said, "You made my sister cry."
"It's my fault, please, give me one more chance," begged Tyler desperately. "We do care about each other. I swear, I'll change! Please, I'm begging you!"
Nolan shook his head slowly and said coldly, "No, you don't deserve it."
Nolan raised his sword once more. There was a flash of cold steel, and Tyler's remaining arm was severed, causing him to nearly pass out from the pain.
Nolan handed the sword to Scarlet and said, "I want him alive, but stripped of all dignity, suffering with every breath he takes."
Hearing this, Scarlet gracefully nodded to him and then said with a smile, "As you wish."
Without hesitation, he stepped forward and, with clean precision, severed Tyler's legs. The pain jolted him awake.
