Everett was stunned by the news.
He looked at Hosea and asked, "What happened? Did the Norbergs fight among themselves for the Spirit of Life Serum? Or did something go wrong with Myth Group?"
No matter how much he thought about it, Everett never imagined that the Norberg family had almost been wiped out.
It wasn't that Everett lacked the courage to consider such a possibility. It was just that the Norberg family, while not as powerful as the Benton family, was deeply rooted and influential in the Eastern State. As a result, no one would casually think of their downfall.
Hosea's expression was grave as he spoke, "According to the latest reports, the Norbergs have been nearly annihilated. Even Mr. Norberg Senior is dead. The person in charge now of the family is Harper."
Everett's expression turned serious, and in a deep voice, he asked, "What happened? Explain it to me now!"
Hosea immediately relayed everything he had learned, including the execution of Owen's alliance members, the number of Norberg family members who had died, and who was now in charge. He also mentioned the deaths of Hound and the Duo of Doom.
Everett listened to all that with a deep frown on his face. He could hardly believe his ears.
"Mr. Frye, you must be kidding me, right? The Duo of Doom are dead too?"
Hosea nodded gravely. "Mr. Benton, how could I joke about something like this? It's true. The Duo of Doom are indeed dead. And it was Pierce who personally took them down."
Everett's expression darkened.
