The Ruthless Lycan King Fell For His Slave Mate novel Chapter 103

After Nile’s death, the royal troops scoured the palace for rogues. They also searched the capital city and found many who had been waiting for orders from Nile.

Much to Julian’s displeasure, as soon as order was restored in the palace, Lyra announced that she wanted to go back to the Red Moon Pack. Not only that, but she also wanted to bring the willing rogues to her pack.

“Everybody accused you of working with the enemy when they found out you spared the rogues who attacked Red Moon,” he told her. “Why do you want to take in these ones too?”

“If I don’t, where else will they go?” she asked him.

“Nowhere,” he replied. “They’ll stay in the dungeons, where they belong. They infiltrated the capital and the palace. They must pay for their crimes.”

“They were simply obeying their king’s orders,” Lyra argued. “When I interrogated them after Nile’s death, they were willing to live peacefully in the kingdom. Most of them are powerless werewolves who could only have relied on a powerful Alpha like Nile to survive.”

“You are too kind,” Julian said. “Nile is dead, but who is to say no one else will rise up to lead them against our kingdom? They might be without a leader now, but one will rise sooner or later. They always do.”

“Then let us take away their need for a leader,” she said.

Julian frowned. “What do you mean?”

“Nile told me the history of the rogues,” she told him. “This conflict has been built on centuries worth of grudges. As long as we keep treating each other as enemies, it will never end. My former pack has a lot of territory, and I’ll settle them there to avoid conflicts with the existing Red Moon Pack members. In the end, everyone will benefit. If they turn out to be a threat to others, I’ll take responsibility.”

“You don’t have to do this,” he told her.

“I’m the Wolf Mother,” she told him. “I’m supposed to unite all werewolves, and that includes the rogues. I’m supposed to protect all werewolves, not encourage infighting among ourselves.”

“Alright,” Julian said, finally giving in. “But I don’t have the same duty as you, and if they prove to be unworthy of your mercy, I’ll wipe them out to the last of them. My duty is to protect my subjects and you, and I’ll spare no one who threatens either.”

Lyra remained at the Red Moon pack for a couple of weeks. She had been gone for much longer than she had anticipated, but the pack members had carried out their projects as allocated.

During the time she remained at the pack, she successfully resettled the new rogues and supervised the ongoing projects. All the crucial facilities like the training centre and school were running well, and for the most part, the pack was running like normally.

A month after the Rogue King’s fiasco ended, the royal wedding was held at the palace. Werewolves of all ranks from all around the kingdom were invited to attend the grand affair, and the capital city was bustling as a result.

When the bonding ceremony ended, the cheers of thousands of guests rose to the sky as they welcomed the new royal couple. After the public event, the Lycan King and the newly crowned Luna Queen retreated back to the palace. There, the celebration continued in the banquet hall, where only select werewolves were invited.

Just when she thought her clit couldn’t take it anymore, he moved lower. He dragged the tip of his tongue through her slit, collecting her arousal and sweeping it into his mouth. The sound that left his throat was positively a growl–a low, rumbly sound.

Lyra’s hand ended up in his hair as he put his lips and tongue to work, urging him to give her more. He did not stop until she exploded beneath his touch, her body unravelling like a bud in spring.

He peppered her with kisses while her body went through climax, this time working his way up. He took his sweet time worshipping her with his lips, and by the time he got to her lips, she was ready to take him inside her.

They locked their hands together and did not look away from each other as he entered her, slowly filling her. After a few slow strokes, he quickened his pace, their need for each other mounting with each second.

“The curse is gone,” Julian muttered later as they lay wrapped up in each other.

“Can you tell?” Lyra asked.

“There’s a heaviness that I’ve always felt weighing on me that dissipated as soon as we completed our bonding ceremony,” he told her. “I think that’s when the curse’s power vanished completely.”

“Good,” Lyra said, snuggling closer to him. “Now all we have to do is make sure the witches don’t catch us off guard again.”
