The Ruthless Lycan King Fell For His Slave Mate novel Chapter 77

Lyra was not happy to leave the pack in the middle of everything, but she could not ignore her instincts. Fortunately, she had established a framework that they could follow in her absence to ensure that everything ran as smoothly as before. If it turned out that nothing was wrong, she would be back soon to keep up with the work there.

As soon as it dawned, she summoned Rick and a few select werewolves who were in charge of various sectors. When she told them of her plans to leave, they looked anxious.

“We need you here,” Rick told her. “Everything has been going well so far because of your leadership. The pack members are also reassured because you are here with us. If you leave now, I'm afraid our progress will be lost.”

“I'm not leaving forever,” Lyra told him. “I think something is wrong in the palace, and I need to go and check. As soon as I've settled any matters there, I'll be back. All of you have been doing a good job supervising what I've put you in charge of. You all know our plan, so you can proceed with it while I'm away. You can always call me if you need my input.”

“If it's about the palace, then you had better go,” the werewolf in charge of the craftsmen, Xavier, said. “You have established a good system, and as long as we follow it, we'll keep up with the work even with you gone.”

“The security is tight too,” Rick said, “even without you here, I think the members will be reassured.”

“Do you need anything at the infirmary?” Lyra asked Claudia, the head healer in charge of healing.

“We have everything we need at the moment,” she reported. “In the coming days, most of the injured will also be able to leave, so the workload and need for medicine will reduce drastically. I don't think we'll have any problems while you are gone.”

“Great,” Lyra said. Turning to Rick, she said, “I'll need you to keep an eye on the rogues, to make sure there are no conflicts occurring between them and the Red Moon Pack members. Remember that they are now members of this pack, so you should treat them equally. If there are any conflicts, I expect you to solve them wisely without being unjust to anyone.”

Rick nodded. “Got it. I'll keep that in mind.”

Chapter 77 2

When she could not reach them through her phone, Lyra tried reaching them through her mind. But no matter how hard she probed, she could not sense any of them. This made her even more concerned than not being able to reach them on their phones.

Chapter 77 3

Lyra drove as fast as she could, anxious to reach the palace as soon as possible. She refused to give in to despair, convincing herself that Julian was alive. As his mate, she would know if he wasn't. As long as he was alive, she would find him.

Finally, after what seemed like hundreds of hours on the road, she arrived in the capital city, with only a few miles between her and the palace.
