Betrayed, But Not Defeated novel Chapter 155

Even though Rowan was dead, Daniel and Charlene's troubles were far from over.

The Crane family controlled vast resources, and even a simple command from them could determine the fate of companies like Charlene's.

"A lot of the cosmetics orders have been returned! If we don't find a way to sell them, we'll end up with a huge backlog in the warehouse!" Charlene said, rubbing her temples. "And the bank has already sent an official notice demanding repayment."

Daniel, however, remained calm.

"Good products sell themselves. We know the quality of our products better than anyone," Daniel said, then turned to Charlene. "Didn't you plan to go online when we first launched the youth cream? This could be a great opportunity!"

Charlene lifted up her head, her eyes lighting up. "You're right! We can shift to selling online!"

The youth cream had been a massive hit upon its release, with offline orders bringing in substantial profits. Given the company's limited capacity, they hadn't rushed into online sales. But now, with the current crisis, moving online would undoubtedly be an excellent way to break through the deadlock.

While the Crane family had significant influence in Qranross, their reach didn't extend across the entire country.

"I'll get things moving right away. Scarlet! Scarlet!" Charlene instantly felt reinvigorated.

Scarlet immediately hurried over.

Due to the stalled sales of the youth cream, the atmosphere within the company had noticeably shifted. With even Charlene, the company's owner, feeling dejected, it was easy to imagine what the employee morale would be.

"Didn't I ask the sales department to draft an online sales plan? Have them bring it over immediately! And get me the endorsement plan as well!" Charlene instructed.

Charlene's renewed vigor made Scarlet give Daniel a thumbs-up. She finally realized that only Daniel could lift Charlene's spirits.

"As for the issue with the bank, it can be easily fixed as well. They said they want their money back, right? Well, let them have it!" Daniel placed a bank card on Charlene's desk. "Use the money in here for now. Let me know if it's not enough!"

Charlene's eyes turned slightly red. "Thanks, Daniel!"

Daniel walked over to her and whispered into her ear, "If you want to thank me properly, you know what to do."
