Betrayed, But Not Defeated novel Chapter 251

Daniel knew very well that Jennifer and Zidane were nothing more than pawns being pushed forward by others. But that didn't mean he would let them off easily.

Since they dared to step into the spotlight, Daniel didn't mind playing along with them. His goal was to let them exhaust all their tricks and still find themselves powerless.

For the next few days, Jennifer and her group remained unusually quiet, and Zidane was nowhere to be seen.

The popularity of the youthify cream soared, with sales climbing steadily and its reputation seemingly intact. Meanwhile, the paid influences Jennifer had hired continued to attack the youth cream.

"Here, let me give you a massage," Daniel said when he saw how exhausted Charlene looked. He walked over and gently began massaging her neck.

"Sales have been dropping badly lately," Charlene said with a sigh.

She had originally planned to launch a new product, but now she was facing a major setback.

Daniel smiled and said, "It should happen soon. After all, the side effects of using Brightbane Weed are very serious, so we should be able to see a public lynching by tomorrow."

"Public lynching?" Charlene trusted Daniel, but hearing this still made her feel uneasy. After all, if what he said were true, Jennifer's life would become a living hell in the near future.

Daniel chuckled coldly. "She brought this on herself. She made her bed, now she has to lie in it!"

At Jennifer Cosmetics, Jennifer read the company's financial report with a smile. Ever since she had seen the cold, ruthless look in Daniel's eyes, her only thought had been to make money.

"Make a copy of this report and send it to Mr. Wilcox," Jennifer said after a moment of thought.

"Yes, Ms. Walsh," said the accountant quickly with a nod.

Just as Jennifer was fantasizing about her growing wealth, her assistant rushed in, looking panicked.

"What's got into you? You need to learn to stop panicking at a drop of a hat!" Jennifer scoffed coldly when she saw her assistant's flustered expression.
