The burly men entering the room had wolf head tattoos on their necks and carried baseball bats, exuding a menacing air.
"Give him a massage first! After that, we can sign the papers!" Solomon said as he slapped a document onto the table.
"Don't worry, Mr. Walsh! This guy will be on the ground begging for mercy soon enough!" The group leader grinned maliciously, raising the baseball bat and swinging it at the back of Daniel's head.
This wasn't just a simple "massage". They were clearly aiming to take Daniel's life.
But before the bat could even touch Daniel, he punched it with such force that it recoiled and embedded itself into the attacker's skull.
The rest of the men were frozen in shock, staring at the scene.
"You're a martial artist?"
They could at most recognize that Daniel wasn't just an ordinary person, but nothing more.
Daniel, however, paid them no mind as he slowly walked toward Solomon.
Solomon's eyes widened at that moment, and a look of disbelief crossed his face. He instinctively sat back down in his chair, making a strange noise.
Daniel walked over to the desk and opened the document.
When he saw the contents, a cold smile appeared on his face. "Asset transfer agreement? Looks like you're still not giving up."
Solomon's face twisted with resentment. "It's all Jennifer's doing! Why should a fool like you still own the rights to the building? She just wants to claim the property after you're dead! You ungrateful bastard!"
Daniel couldn't help but laugh.
How interesting! If it weren't for Jennifer, what right did Solomon or the Walsh family have to be in Qranross?
But to think that Jennifer had done so much, yet the Walsh family's greed had led them to betray her—perhaps this was karma for her malicious intentions.
