There was no way Daniel would let Bryson act like that. With a swift move, he stepped forward and raised his hand, delivering three hard slaps to Bryson.
Bryson's face immediately swelled up.
Some people only became well-behaved after being beaten, just like Bryson. He didn't even dare to look at Daniel now.
Daniel looked at Selena. "Get lost!" he roared.
People like them were too cheap to kill. What Daniel wanted was for them to go bankrupt.
He wanted them to become beggars. All the blood they had sucked from the Ashcroft family over the years would be paid back in full. This was even more satisfying than killing them.
Selena gritted her teeth and glared at Daniel before pulling Bryson out.
After they left, Daniel took a deep breath, turning to Ethan. "Thank you, Mr. Turner."
Ethan waved his hand. "It's nothing. Your mother was a gentle and kind person. Letting such a villain succeed is our sorrow!"
After speaking, Ethan gave Daniel a deep look. "You have great potential, young man. If there's anything you don't understand, feel free to come to me. My store is at the corner."
Daniel saw Ethan out, and it was clear that that day's events would be the biggest topic of conversation in Southgate Alley.
…
Meanwhile, Jennifer still couldn't accept the fact that Daniel had recovered. As she sat in the empty villa, her eyes were blank, especially when she saw the tools that had once been used to torture Daniel.
She shuddered and covered her head with both hands. "No! This is impossible! This is absolutely impossible!"
Just as Jennifer was in immense pain, a rapid knock on the door sounded.
