Charlene wanted to persuade Daniel but didn't know how to, so she could only sigh softly.
"I'll sit here from now on," Daniel said, walking to a corner where there was a meeting table.
Charlene glanced at him, sighing again. "Alright. You can decide. I don't have much to do lately. I'm just handling the big order with Obsidian Group. I'll have Scarlet bring some company materials for you to look at later so you're not left in the dark."
Charlene suddenly remembered Oscar's advice. "By the way, would you like to come home for dinner tonight?"
Oscar had just recovered, but he still needed to know Daniel's identity so he could give up on any thoughts of interfering.
"Sure," Daniel replied.
The misunderstanding with Charlene was also related to helping Oscar, and the Geller family did have some influence in Qranross. Daniel also wanted to gather some information from them.
When the Ashcroft family was destroyed, besides Omari, there were other people fueling the flames. Others might not know, but he was sure Oscar did.
These people wouldn't escape his vengeance, either.
He had to admit that when working, there seemed to be a magical force that made him want to sleep just sitting there.
Hence…
When Charlene heard a noise from him, she looked up.
Daniel had fallen asleep, and he was even snoring.
But looking at Daniel's profile, Charlene resisted the urge to wake him up.
Daniel's phone rang.
