Archer Sullivan was short and slight, with a gaunt face and a pair of venomous eyes.
However, Daniel wasn't even looking at him. His gaze was fixed on an elderly man by Archer's side. "The Keaton family's response is impressively swift, I see!"
"Who exactly are you?" The old man frowned. He could sense Daniel's unusual presence, to the extent that it made him feel reluctant to make a move.
"Daniel Ashcroft," Daniel replied, glancing at him.
"Since the Keaton family has decided to act, surely they wouldn't send just a lackey like you."
The elderly man narrowed his eyes. "You've got quite the mouth, young man. Over the years, there haven't been many who dared to speak to the Keaton family like this."
"That's because you haven't met me yet," Daniel sneered.
"Since you're all so eager to die, I'll grant you your wish!"
The older man burst into laughter. "How amusing! But you're underestimating the Keaton family far too much! I've said it before—no one offends the Keaton family and walks away unscathed! Charlene didn't show up. But instead, you, a reckless fool, did!"
The elderly man's expression was full of mockery. "I'm a kind person, so I won't take your life. But I'll take you to Charlene's company so you can witness the Geller family's downfall personally."
Daniel frowned deeply.
Charlene was in danger!
He hadn't anticipated the Keaton family being so cunning, setting a trap here while also preparing a Plan B. Judging by the situation, someone from the Keaton family must already be on their way to Charlene's company.
…
At Charlene's cosmetics company, Charlene had just finished signing the documents that Scarlet delivered when she heard shouts outside.
Moments later, the sound of sobbing echoed through the office. Sensing trouble, Charlene immediately opened the door to step out.
"Shut up! Scream again, and I'll ruin your face!"
"Wow, this company's quality is really good!"
