Frederick's injuries had healed, but his face was still wrapped with bandages. He limped as he walked, settling down directly across from Charlene.
"Frederick?" Charlene frowned.
Frederick casually tapped the pen on the desk, his gaze lowered as he spoke. "Ms. Geller, I'm here to solve your problem. If you're willing to sell the shares of Geller Cosmetics, we can negotiate any price you want."
Charlene immediately stood up. "Mr. Lewis, I'll be filing a complaint with the bank! You've breached client confidentiality!"
But Caleb didn't seem to care at all.
It was Frederick who stood up next. "Ms. Geller, do you really think you can leave?"
As he spoke, two imposing bodyguards blocked the door.
"What are you doing? Caleb Lewis, have you lost your mind?" Charlene turned to Caleb, her voice filled with disbelief.
However, Caleb simply shut off the surveillance footage and turned to look out the window. "Ms. Geller, Mr. Quinton is serious about acquiring Geller Cosmetics. The price he's offering is enough for you to start an even larger cosmetics company! I'm only doing this for your own good."
Charlene's expression changed drastically. She pulled out her phone, intent on calling Daniel.
But before she could dial, Frederick suddenly stepped forward. He snatched the phone from her hand and smashed it on the floor.
"Ms. Geller, you're asking for trouble!" Frederick growled, grabbing her arm with force.
Charlene cried out for help.
Caleb laughed and said, "Ms. Geller, this is the VIP room. The soundproofing is excellent, so don't waste your energy."
Frederick narrowed his eyes. "Ms. Geller, you'd be wise to learn your place. My target isn't you—it's Daniel. Take your money and stay out of this. That's my only advice to you."
