Chapter 352 More Than Enough
In just a few seconds, countless thoughts raced through Savannah’s mind. But in the end, even though she felt a bit unwilling, she still put on the role of the understanding, graceful, intelligent, and kind–hearted woman.
“Well, if it really comes to that, then let’s do what you think is best. I still really like Sophia as an actress. If you can help her build a more positive public immage, I think it’s worth trying You know how hard it is for actresses who refuse to play by the unspoken rules of this industry.”
Sebastian was completely moved. She understood him–of course she did.
“I knew you’d get it. You’re always so thoughtful and kind.”
Neither Savannah nor Sebastian realized that everything they were discussing was already meaningless. Louis had no intention of letting this go. Which meant all their talk was for nothing.
Louis got off work early that day–he didn’t stay to work overtime. After seeing Freya’s tweet. he made a point of going home sooner just to be with her. He was still worried she might be upset.
Right before clocking out, he even sent Kendrick and the others a message: they’d better pick up the pace. So far, the only public response clearing Freya’s name had come from the production team. He hadn’t seen any action from his side yet.
Freya was in a great mood. The moment she heard the bedroom door open, she jumped up from her desk and bounded over like a spring, throwing herself straight into Louis’s arms
When she looked up at him, her whole face lit up like a flower in full bloom. Louis dipped down and kissed her, smiling as he carried her back toward the bed in his arms.
“What time did you get up this afternoon?” he asked as they settled down. “What’ve you. up to?”

“I just checked Twitter, shared a post to back the crew up, and got some writing done.” Freya beamed at him. “How come you’re home so early? Were you worried about me? Aren’t you tired?”
“I’m not tired. I came home to be with you. You’re the most important thing.”
Louis didn’t mind giving her every ounce of reassurance she needed. His dad always said women were creatures that needed to feel safe–and that a good husband should a express his love. That was the key to a happy home.

As he spoke, he released her from his arms and handed her a gift bag
“I picked this up on the way back.”
It was a delicate pale blue and pink gift bag, tied with a ribbon. Freya opened it curiously- and gasped. Inside were two ceramic mugs. The exact ones she had tried (and failed) to snag
online.
One was engraved with a husky, the other with a ragdoll cat. Both animals were drawn in a cute chibi style. The mugs were glazed with a color gradient, and apparently, when hot water was poured in, an intricate design appeared at the bottom.
Freya was over the moon. “You actually lined up for these?”
“Do you like them?” Louis watched her delighted expression and finally felt at ease. She really did like them.
“I love them,” she said, absolutely thrilled. She thought they’d sold out for good. She never expected Louis to not only remember but actually go out of his way to get them for her.
“Oh my god, how are you so amazing? Being with you is like a dream come true.”
The mugs hadn’t cost a fortune, but it was the thought that

Turns out, these little surprises really were important. His dad had been right.
Feeling validated, Louis pulled her down to the couch with him.
