Chapter 353 A Line Crossed
Freya kept the next part of her sentence to herself.
“I’ll always believe in you. And so will Aiden,” Louis said as he wrapped her in a hug.
Of course he knew what she hadn’t said aloud. No one knew it better than he did–Freya only had him in this world. He believed that even if one day he betrayed her, she’d still live her life with strength and grace. But as long as he stayed by her side, with his heart still hers, she’d never leave him–even if he lost everything and fell into ruin.
In a society as flashy and fickle as theirs, a love that pure and unwavering was rare. Every time Louis thought about it, he thanked the heavens for letting him meet Freya. Not every woman was capable of such genuine devotion.
And Freya’s loyalty didn’t come from naivety–it came from clarity. From thought–out, conscious choice.
Chasing profit was easy. Choosing to stay kind and untainted through all the temptation– that was the hard part.
That made Freya priceless.
“Mm–hmm. And I’ll always believe in you guys too.” Freya looked up and planted a kiss on Louis’s chin.
A knock came at the door. Outside, Marilyn called gently, “Young Master, Young Madam, dinner is ready.”

“Sure. We’ll go for a stroll after we eat.” He had originally planned to handle a few things, but if Freya wanted to go out, they’d go out. He could manage Kendrick remotely.
Kendrick, who was currently plotting Dean’s downfall, was shoveling takeout in his mouth while sipping medicinal soup his mom had sent over. He was jotting down notes on a pad, totally unaware that he was about to be put to work yet again.

Chapter 858 A Line Crossed
What neither of them expected was that just a few blocks out of their complex, a swarm of reporters appeared out of nowhere. One by one, they shoved microphones forward, pelling Freya with aggressive questions.
“Ms. Freya, what are your thoughts on taking someone else’s role? Do you think having money means you can snatch whatever part you want without consequences?”
“Ms. Freya, now that you’ve married into a wealthy family, do you feel like you can do whatever you please, without restraint?”
“There are rumors that you married into the Graham family out of gratitude from your elders. Do you really think the Graham family will keep covering for you, no matter how scandalous your behavior is?”
“Ms. Freya, did you steal someone else’s role because the Graham family gave you a safety net? Do you feel any guilt at all toward Ms. Sophia?”
“You’ve stated on Twitter that
u have no plans to enter the entertainment industry. Was that sincere–or just a tactic to protect your image during this crisis? If you’re not joining the industry, why take Ms. Sophia’s role?”
“With your looks, Ms. Freya, did you marry into the Graham family because of your beauty or your family’s ties to them? Are you so confident because you believe you have Mr. Graham completely wrapped around your finger?”
“Ms. Freya, look this way!”
