“Sure, he’s richer than us now–but someday, we’ll be richer than him. Whatever you want to buy, you’ll be able to afford.”
It wasn’t about him having money, it was them having money. He didn’t earn it just for himself; he earned it so she could spend it. Freya was instantly overwhelmed with emotion. This–this was her man.
It was never really about the money; it was about the heart that was willing to share everything with her.
“Louis, Freya, seriously, you two need to tone it down. There are a lot of people here, and you just won’t stop with the public affection. We get it, your relationship’s great. Could you at least spare a thought for us single people?”
Baylon couldn’t take it anymore. Yeah, yeah, having a wife is great, but we’re still your brothers! You don’t have to rub it in. Being single’s tough enough already!
“Exactly, enough already. I just helped you two out, and now this is how you repay me? Go home if you want to be all lovey–dovey–you’ve got all the time in the world. Quinton rarely shows up, can we not spend the night getting hit over the head with your affection?”
Kendrick jumped in too, piling onto the complaint and griping about how clingy Louis and Freya were acting.
Quinton, who had been dragged into the conversation for no reason, just shrugged. He didn’t really mind
but hey, got to show some love for the younger brothers.
Louis let go of Freya, only to shift to holding her hand instead. With Kendrick and Baylon throwing subtle side–eyes his way, he calmly led Freya back to the spot where they had been chatting earlier.
Watching them walk off, George’s icy blue eyes flickered. He murmured to himself,
“She really does look like her, doesn’t she? So, it must be her… After searching for so long, how could I just give up now? I need to be patient–take it slow.”
People who’d sneakily been watching the whole scene earlier now started inching over toward Louis again. And once they got close, they didn’t miss a chance to shower Freya with praise.
“Mrs. Graham is absolutely stunning, and Mr. Graham is so talented and capable. Truly a match made in heaven! And your relationship is just… enviable!”
“I’ve heard all about Mrs. Graham–she’s such a remarkable woman. You hardly find wor days. Mr. Graham must be blessed with amazing luck and fate to have found someone. people call destiny!”
n like her these
“They say birds of a feather flock together–Mr. Graham is handsome, decent, and capable; Mrs. Graham is beautiful, gracious, and intelligent. You two are truly meant to be. We couldn’t even be jealous if we tried!”
“Mrs. Graham, do you have any friends you can introduce to us? We’re not asking for much–just someone with your character would be enough. A woman like you is rare these days. Honestly, Mr. Graham has every reason to be the envy of us all!”

Chapter 389 Our Expectations.
Kendrick and the others standing nearby were practically twitching by now. Seriously, how long were these people going to keep going? Did they have no shame?
They had just gotten Louis to stop flaunting his relationship, and now they were being force–fed affection by a bunch of sycophants. There seemed to be no end to the madness. Apparently, there was nothing else worth complimenting. Was it that they weren’t good–looking enough? Not young or promising enough? Here they were, tall, dazzlingly handsome men standing in full view, and nobody even batted an eye?
“Serves them right for not making it big in business,” Kendrick muttered bitterly. I’m a top celebrity, my whole brand is based on looks and talent, and they’re ignoring all that just to praise Louis for being smart? These people must be blind.
Louis, the one getting all the praise, held Freya’s hand a little tighter. He looked calm on the outside, but there was a rare softness in his expression as he nodded politely–just enough to encourage everyone to keep the compliments coming.
