A Wedding Night Gone Terribly Wrong novel Chapter 305

Iris smiled brightly. "I'm fine, don't worry."

She happily dialed Yvette's number.

"Are you awake yet, Yvette?"

"I'm already at the mall," Yvette replied.

Iris teased, "Wow, look at you playing the perfect, dutiful girlfriend."

Yvette laughed. "Well, it's Leland Lockwood. He's worth the effort."

"You're gorgeous, successful, and domestic. Once you get to the Lockwood Mansion, his parents are going to beg you to stay. You're the ultimate catch."

"Haha. It's only natural that the first time I actually put effort into a man, I get results."

"You've got this! Snatch him up. The best bachelor in the city is practically yours."

Hanging up, Iris practically skipped over to Holden. "Babe!"

"Yes?" he answered immediately, turning his full attention to her.

"Yvette is such a boss. She totally outclasses Winifred. Once Leland has Yvette, he won't even look twice at his ex."

Holden smiled. "My sister is the perfect match for him."

Iris clapped her hands. "What kind of gifts should we bring?"

"You're a massive star gracing them with your presence. They should be honored you're even stepping foot in their house," Holden joked.

Iris blushed. "Oh, stop it."

Holden chuckled, walking over to his private collection cabinet. He pulled out several ornate boxes of premium ginseng. "A pharmaceutical exec gifted me these. Century-old ginseng. Take them to the mainland Lockwoods."

"I know. He's my absolute rock right now."

Iris looked closely at Nelly, noting the older woman's cloudy eyes and slightly pale complexion. "Are you feeling okay, Mrs. Sutton?"

Nelly sighed. "The cold weather messes with my circulation. Have Dr. Adams come take a look at me soon."

"I will."

Iris then proudly presented Yvette. "This is Holden's older sister. She's a former model, founder of a major fashion label, board member of the Royal Motorcycle Club, GM of the Y-Elite Club, and CEO of Mirage Media Group..."

Nelly beamed. "What an extraordinary young woman! Beautiful, elegant, from a great family, and fiercely successful."

Yvette basked in the praise. "Thank you, Mrs. Sutton."

"Girls like you are incredibly rare these days," Nelly praised. "Let's head inside. The moment Leland sees you, he's going to fall head over heels."
