A Wedding Night Gone Terribly Wrong novel Chapter 87

"Watch me make sure *your* kid has nowhere to go!"

"I'm going to have you and your pathetic excuse for a family thrown out of this park, blacklisted, and banned for life!"

Huxley was furious, his chest heaving with every breath. Seth bounced slightly in his arms with the force of Huxley's anger, gripping his suit lapels tightly so he wouldn't fall.

Jordyn wasn't about to back down. She wriggled out of Holden's arms, marched forward, and tilted her chin up arrogantly. "Who do you think you are?"

How dare he talk back to her uncle? Didn't he know Uncle Holden could have him fired and ruin his life? He could put this guy on a national blacklist so he'd never find a job again!

Iris gently pulled Jordyn back. "Baby, don't be impolite."

Jordyn shook her off. "Don't be scared, Auntie! We have Uncle Holden!"

She turned her glare back to Huxley. "Hey, mister! Do you even know who my uncle is? He's the CEO of the Roland Group in Seaport City! He's super powerful. Are you sure you want to mess with him?"

Huxley didn't bother wasting his breath on a spoiled brat. He pulled out his phone.

Emboldened by Holden's endless indulgence, Jordyn kept hurling threats.

"And my aunt is a huge star! She's a reality show goddess!

"Let me tell you, my uncle loves her the most. He made her famous!

"Anyone who messes with my aunt, my uncle destroys them!

"Anyone who messes with me, my uncle punishes them!

"He'll crush you without a second thought, just like he did to Seth!"

Meanwhile, Huxley spoke sharply into his phone. "Bro! Immediately. Right now. I want Holden Lockwood, his awful girlfriend, and her bratty niece physically removed from the premises..."

Huxley's voice cracked with pure rage, his tone wildly fluctuating.

Shelly let out a mocking laugh. "What a joke. This punk is just hyping himself up."

"Yes, that's right... Oh, really?... I see... Well, that's certainly a misunderstanding among allies..."

He hung up the phone.

Jordyn tugged excitedly on Holden's hand. "Uncle Holden, are the police coming to arrest Seth now?"

Iris picked Jordyn up, smiling gracefully. "Holden, Seth's father looks terrified. He's shaking. Let's just forgive him."

She looked at Huxley with feigned pity. "Sir, you should take the boy and leave. Your panic is scaring him. It'll only give him an inferiority complex."

"Inferiority complex my ass!" Huxley pointed a sharp finger right at Iris's nose.

Jordyn put her hands on her hips. "How dare you curse at my aunt! Uncle Holden, look! He's bullying Aunt Iris!"

Her aunt was Holden's most precious treasure.
