Chur by noe, she moved everything she carried into the System Vault. After upgrading her ferritory, Arcane Workbench, and The Mask Arcane Defense Tower, she had prarthally emptied out all her resources.
All she had left were a little over two hundred units of premium wood, a few scattered materials, and some plant weds
She was broke. And she could feel it
Now that her territory had expanded to roughly twenty by twenty feet, things no longer felt as cramped as before. Taking advantage of the extra space, Chlor quickly sketched out a rough layout for the area.
The small wooden cabin would stay at the center, serving as her Living Zone The enhanced soil, the Arcane Soil Purifier and the Slime Essence Sapling Seeds were shifted outward, forming a Farming Zone in the northwest corner of the cabin.
The Arcane Defense Tower was placed behind the cabin so it could guard both the house and the farming area, while the space in front of the cabin was left open for combat training or resting,
Only after rearranging everything did Chloe realize how spacious her territory had become. There was still so much empty land left, making the small wooden cabin feel even more cramped than before.
Her gaze lingered on the cabin for a moment before she opened the housing blueprint. The moment she saw the massive list of required materials, her vision nearly darkened.
She let out a long sigh. There was no way she could afford all this right now.
But then she noticed a Details button on the blueprint and tapped it on the system screen.

[Current Design Concept: The wooden cabin serves as the Living Zone, with the Arcane Workshop as the core structure. The greenhouse is designed as an expandable outer unit. Furnaces can be installed in the cabin, greenhouse, and workshop to maintain stable temperatures.

Chloe stared at the screen, her mouth falling open in shock.
Whoever designed this blueprint is surprisingly thoughtful. They even included draft sketches for all the different layou she thought.
Truth be told, Chloe knew almost nothing about design. She could tell when something looked good, but she could never explain why, nor was she particularly skilled at arranging things herself,
Even so, the moment she looked at those sketches, she instinctively felt they were impressive.
Still, she quickly decided to prioritize building a greenhouse first. Her plan was to mass-grow Fleece-Grass from seeds,

[Warning! You can build a Crude Glass Greenhouse now. Additional resources will still be required later to complete and upgrade the structure.]
The warning text was highlighted in an aggressive blood-red color that felt strangely intimidating
Chloe studied it for a moment before slowly realizing this didn’t feel like an ordinary system fretification. It was more like a direct warning from the special housing blueprint itself.
She paused to think for a moment.
She still had an Arcane Forge waiting to be upgraded, and although she didn’t yet know exactly what the Arcane Workshop could do, it was obvious the two were designed to complement each other. Besides, the tiny one-room wooden cabin already felt unbearably cramped.
As she mentally calculated her options, Chloe found herself wanting to upgrade the Protective Barrier, expand the greenhouse to enlarge her living space, and build the Arcane Workshop as well. It sounded like it came with unique functions.
She still had plenty of design sketches left to work with, and she could even craft magic runes now. Unfortunately, the minimum materials required to make a Rune Pen were already Rare-grade magic materials.
In the end, everything came down to the same problem.
She simply didn’t have enough resources.
Food was running low too.
Chloe glanced at her System Vault, where the storage display showed she only had 230 units left.
She really was dirt poor.
That night, Chloe headed out for her usual monster-clearing run, only to find the number of mobs pitifully low. Most of them were wiped out by the Arcane Defense Tower the moment they spawned, before she even had a chance to make a
move.
There was barely anything left for her to do except collect the treasure chests scattered across the ground, most of them Bronze Chests, with a few Silver Chests mixed in.
The moment she got close, a system notification popped up:
[Congratulations, Player! You have successfully slain your 100th monster and earned a special chest fusion opportunity Would you like to fuse your chests and obtain a Wish Chest better suited to your current needs? (Level random.)]
‘A Wish Chest?’ She raised an eyebrow.
Chloe had never seen one before, but she was more than willing to try it. The loot from ordinary chests had been getting worse and worse lately anyway.

As Chloe continued observing the area, another notification suddenly appeared in her vision.
