Chapter 56
As the door swung open, Chloe was greeted by a floor so immaculate it shone like a mirror. The tiles, from some enigmatic substance, shimmered with an air of opulence. Every wall lamp, door, painting decoration exuded a nostalgic, enchanting allure.
The moment Chloe stepped inside, a series of buffs appeared.

Buffs continued to stack up, one after another, but Chloe was so accustomed to the endless stream of notifications that she barely blinked
Her status bar overflowed with notifications, scrolling so relentlessly that their end became a distant memory The torrent lasted minutes before finally tapering off
Chloe could not help but marvel at Shana’s almost ridiculous generosity.
At first, she believed she was just admiring the décor, but soon realized every item was of extraordinary quality. The system tossed around labels like “Legendary” and “top-tier” so often that they lost all meaning.
Chloe trailed after Dawn, hardly noticing as he guided her into a sunken, semicircular living room.
Descending a few steps, Chloe felt as though she had stepped into the heart of a rose garden. Glass walls encircled the room, unveiling breathtaking vistas in every direction.
Outside the glass, Fleece-Grass danced in the breeze, casting a gentle, dreamlike glow across the night.
At the center of the room, plush guest seats awaited. Nearby, a towering crystal grand piano played itself. filling the air with music as Chloe entered.
[System Notification: An unknown advanced item has blessed you, permanently increasing your Energy by one point. This increase does not count toward the cap.
[Current Energy: 7]
Chloe stared in disbelief. Seriously? I get a permanent Energy boost just for listening to a piano?
She drifted toward the creamy white sofa, its plush cushions promising to swallow her whole. A son throw blanket draped across it only added to the inviting comfort.
But Chloe hesitated suddenly and painfully self-conscious.

Chapter 56
Her clothes were filthy, thick with dust and grime from days spent digging, climbing, running, and sur in the wild.
She had not seen a bathroom or a bar of soap since her first day.
Even brushing her teeth had become a daily battle. Most days, she settled for wiping them with a rag dig in whatever clean water she could find.
In short, Chloe was a disaster.
Staring at the spotless white sofa, she felt rooted to the spot, too embarrassed to even approach.
Dawn turned around, his tail wagging. When he noticed her clothes, he seemed to understand right away.
“You know, you can simply cast a cleaning spell to make yourself spotless,” Dawn explained.
Then he added, “But my master always said that if something can be enjoyed fully, magic should not take t experience away.”
Dawn wagged his tail again. “Come. I’ll show you to the bathroom.”
Just hearing the word “bath” made Chloe’s heart leap with excitement.
Nothing in the world sounded more tempting.
Chloe was the type who craved a hot shower and a thorough hair wash every single day. Cleanliness mattered to her; she was sensitive to smells and loathed feeling sticky.
At that moment, a bath felt like the greatest luxury imaginable.
“Thank you, Dawn,” Chloe replied immediately.
Dawn nodded happily.
“The bath is a little far from here, so let’s teleport there.”
‘Teleport?’ Chloe blinked in surprise.
Before she could process side.

The staff tapped gently at the air, and in an instant, a glowing magic circle unfurled beneath Chloe and Dawn.
For a heartbeat, everything went black, then the world flared back to light.
Since Dawn was right beside her when he cast the spell, Chloe caught a brief glimpse of his system stats.

[System Notification: Do not consider harming its cherished owner or anything the owner values. Othe it’ll show you what real calamity looks like.]
Chloe froze in place.
‘Eternal Gold? Isn’t that above Legendary?
‘Right. So the butler dog could probably destroy me!
She quietly swallowed that thought.
A few seconds later, Chloe’s vision snapped sharply back to normal.
She found herself standing in a vast, opulent bathroom.
Nearby, a sparkling white fish tank glimmered like a diamond. Elegant bath products lined the shelves, golden light bathed the room, and a music box spun a gentle melody in the background.
In front of the bath counter, a mirror gleamed like polished crystal, reflecting Chloe and Dawn standing side by side.
Dawn assured her, “The Arcane Core left by my master can power this place for a century. There’s always hot water; just use your Magic to adjust the Mana Input Slot on the bath fixture.”
He lifted a paw and explained, “Use your Magic on the Fire Element Stone for hot water and the Ice Element Stone for cold. Adjust the Magic for temperature changes.”
Luckily, Chloe had been practicing her Aqua Sphere spell over the past few days. She had also gone through “Introduction to Magic Runes” and “Arcane Botany Compendium.”
Though she was still stumbling through most magical terms, she could at least guess what they meant.
Chloe could not help feeling that all those years at a top university had been wasted. Here in this magical world, she was a complete beginner who could barely read the magical language.
“Alright, I get it,” Chloe replied.
Dawn nodded. With a small flick of magic, he placed a copper-gold bell on the bathroom counter.
“When you’re done washing up, just ring this bell. Woof.”
Then, he pointed toward the side of the room. “Clothes are in the Arcane Wardrobe over there. Don’t worry, woof. They’re all brand new.”
Chloe nodded.
Once Dawn left, Chloe finally let herself relax. She stripped off her heavy, filthy clothes, feeling as though she was shedding an entire layer of hardship.
Normally, she was not one to sweat or smell. But after days in the same clothes, soaked by acid rain and scorched by the sun, even she had reached her breaking point.
