Chapter 69 Sulfor CM
Chapter 69 Sulfur-Crystal Glass
chloe stared in surprise at the drop in the Corruption level. Her gaze shifted to the Fleece-Grass still standing firm in the freezing wind, and she couldn’t help but say. That’s incredible”
It really brought the Corruption level down.
The Mutant Fleece-Grass shook its leaves, lonking smug and proud. Its vibrant green color made it stand out with lively energy against the barren land.
‘This is good, Chloe thought.
She slowly let out a breath of relief. Her eyes drifted to the Arcane Soil Purifier nearby, then to her five Talent Points.
You’re the one. Bless.’
Two of those Talent Points had come from natural growth, while the other three were an unexplained reward she received upon gaining the title ‘Pale Sorceress’
She also had quite a few advanced arcane materials on hand.
Just the Legendary Energy Crystals alone, she still had two left. If she could get more Legendary materials, that would be even better.
‘Unfortunately…’ Chloe thought.
She stared at the purifier’s current rank. Grand Epic. It was very close to Legendary.
She raised her hand, then hesitated.
‘Forget it. Not upgrading yet. Wait a couple more days. Maybe I’ll get better materials.’
Instinct told her that if e gathered more high-quality Legendary materials, she might even be able to push the Arcane Soil Purifier past Ep
entirely.
What she had now was a lot, but not enough.
So, she shelved the upgrade idea for the time being.
Her attention shifted to a blueprint she had gotten earlier from a chest: the Glass Planter Blueprint.
[Glass Planter Blueprint: After use, unlocks Glass Planter crafting at the Crafting Table. Requires 3 units of Frost Glass, 1 unit of crystal, and 1 unit of soil.
[Quality: Rare
[Effect: Increases seed germination speed. Ideal for cultivating seedlings.]
Chloe used it immediately.
She had more seeds than she knew what to do with.
Even if she built a glass greenhouse later, these would definitely come in handy.
After using it, Chloe could directly operate the Arcane Workbench through the System Panel and queue up arcane seed production in the background.
[Consume 45 Energy points to craft 3 Glass Planters?]
Snow Essence counted as a type of crystal.
Chloe crafted one planter using Epic Earth Essence, one unit of living soil, and three units of Frost Glass.
The other two were made with simpler materials: three units of Frost Glass, one unit of Snow Essence, and one unit of common soil dug from outside.
She confirmed the order.
[Crafting Time: 2 days 2 hours]
Chloe was speechless.
That was a long time.
She decided not to worry about it.
She had gotten the living soil quite a while ago and had always planned to try growing something with it. Now, she finally
had the chance.
Once she finished all that, Chloe cleaned herself up and headed to the Arcane Defense Tower to collect loot.
While she had been dealing with the soil the previous night, the tower had been working nonstop, leaving chests scattered

[Congratulations. You’ve obtained 1 Smoked Jerky Blueprint.]
Chloe didn’t get any crafting materials today, but for her, these were all things that improved her quality of life.
Soap. Skincare oil. Eye protection.
She immediately used the stat card. Her Magic went up by one point. Unfortunately, because of the Curse of the Seed, her Magic was still at 9.
Even so, that was a pretty high stat.
Chloe put on the windproof goggles, and her eyes instantly felt much more comfortable. She swapped out her makeshift cold-resistant gloves for fleece gloves and stored the rest of the daily-use items inside.
Now, this felt better.
Chloe let out a breath.
Even though the drops were all from Common chests and didn’t include many resources, they turned out to be exactly what she needed for winter.
This game was fairly beginner-friendly.
She checked the Trading Post and saw plenty of players already selling extra winter clothes, insulated gear sets, heat packs, and heated kettles.
Chloe glanced at the heat packs, a little tempted. But their prices in winter were just too high.
She gave up.
At this moment, she was a bit concerned about her upcoming period. She hadn’t prepared sanitary pads or enough cold- weather supplies.
She didn’t even have a proper bathroom yet. When she needed to go, she had to make do with a wooden bucket inside the cabin, then carry it outside and dump it into the compost bin.
The Slime Cabin still couldn’t be partitioned into a larger space for a proper bathroom.
Chloe used the winter canopy blueprint. It was a Common blueprint, and the materials were very accessible.
[Basic Snow Canopy: Provides protection from rain and snow.
[Requirements: 15 Plant Fibers, 5 Wooden Logs, 5 Common Snow Essences.]
After unlocking it, she saw that she could either mass-produce it at the Crafting Table or spend Energy to craft it instanty The first one only cost 15 Energy points. Chloe still had a full 400 Energy points.
With a casual wave of her hand, she boldly built five canopies at once.
It only cost her 100 Energy points in total.
She placed one canopy at the cabin entrance, one in the plant-growing area, and one at the fishing spot in front. Then, she took her Arcane Wish Rod, cast her line, and listed two of the Common canopies on the Trading Post. She priced them similarly to other winter gear.
Her preferred trade items were Glass Panes and Sulfur-Crystal.
Chloe had already checked the requirements for building a glass greenhouse.

by the witch Shana Blackwood
According to Shana, Sulfur-Crystal Glass was a remarkable material that could withstand magical impact had strong iner properties, provided insulation and moisture retention, and could even filter complex elements from the air
The shintering, radiant glass panels Chloe had seen in Shana’s garden were made of this very material
At the time. Chloe hadn’t thought much of the special recipe.
Now, she wanted to build Sulfur-Crystal Glass
The recipe was simple: Arcane Forge, Sulfur-Crystal, and 10 Glass Panes.
After finishing her daily fishing with the Unstable Arcane Wish Rod, Chloe opened a special item she had gotten earlier from a player inventory
Unknown Explorer’s Manuscript.
She also had a high-risk artifact: Greedy Compass.
She had tried using it before.
But the moment she took it out, it reacted as if pulled by some strange magnetic field, spinning wildly in all directions. The needie rotated rapidly and erratically.
It was unsettling. She quickly stored it inside one of the ten slots in her Arcane Vault, using it to suppress the negative effects of the magic item.
Only now did Chloe finally have time to examine the Unknown Explorer’s Manuscript.
It was a modern notebook, roughly the size of a small journal. The pages had yellowed with age, and a faint scent of ink still lingered on them.
Chloe opened to the first page.
[I don’t know how much longer I’ll survive in this game, but I feel like I should record something.
[Today is my 68th day surviving in this game, yet it feels like I’ve been in the God’s Judgment Realm for a lifetime.]
