After Rejection Divorced Luna Becomes A Famous Doctor (Hailey and Dominic) novel Chapter 239

CHAPTER HUNDRED FIGHT VIHACE

CHAPTER HUNDRED-EIGHTYTHREE-2

My mind raced. The pregnancy had thrown a wrench in my plans. Dominic was more devoted than ever, and Hailey was being treated like a porcelain doll. My attempts to sow discord had been clumsy, easily rebuffed. But my mother was right. This new development was also an opportunity. Hailey’s fragile state of mind, Dominic’s heightened paranoia. It was a chink in their armor.

A new plan, sharp and clear, began to form in my mind. It was risky, it was cruel, but it was also… brilliant.

“What do I do?” I asked, my voice low and steady, all trace of my earlier rebellion gone. “Tell me exactly

what to do.”

“First, you make yourself indispensable,” she instructed. “Not to Dominic, he’s a lost cause for now. You target the pack. The ones who already pity you. Find some little way to be useful. Help in the infirmary, organize a charity drive for the human town, anything. Remind them you’re not just a pretty face who tried to steal their Alpha. You’re one of them.”

I scoffed. “Playing nursemaid? That’s your grand plan?”

“It’s the foundation, you simple girl,” she snapped. “You build trust. You build goodwill. Then, you start the whispers. Nothing you can be blamed for. Just ‘concerns’. ‘Did you hear Hailey fainted again? I’m so worried about the stress on the baby.’ ‘I saw Dominic arguing with Giovanni about security… it’s getting so much worse, isn’t it?’ You slowly terminate the pregnancy, spiking her food or something.”

A slow, wicked smile spread across my face. That I could do. That I was good at. It was a game of poison,

administered drop by drop.

“Get rid of the pregnancy. The baby is a problem that is very easy to get rid of. I’ve already done my research. There are certain herbs that when mixed into a pregnant woman’s diet over a period of weeks, can cause a miscarriage. And I will text you the names and description. This will not just get rid of the baby, but also create a huge rift between them. Hailey will feel like a failure, Dominic will be too busy to notice, and you will be there to pick up the pieces.”

“I understand,” I said, a new fire igniting in my veins.

“Good. And Tricia?” she added, her tone a final, chilling warning. “Don’t fail me again.”

The line went dead. I stood there for a long moment, the phone still pressed to my ear, the smell of damp

earth filling my lungs.
