CHAPTER THIRTY–SEVEN
GIOVANNI
She grabbed my hand, and turned me around, her hands landing on my face.
“Stop, Giovanni. Please, stop. He’s not worth it. Let him go, Giovanni.”
My rage was still there, but her touch was soothing, calming the beast within.
She had this effect on me.
I grabbed her hand, and pulled her away from the crowd.
Hailey was with Dominic, and he was holding her tightly, glaring at everyone who dared to look in
her direction.
“Let’s go.”
“Giovanni-”
“Let’s go.”
“I’m not going anywhere. What the hell is wrong with you, asshole? I’m going to call the cops, and-”
I threw her over my shoulder, and made my way outside.
She was pounding my back, and screaming at the top of her lungs.
“Put me down, Giovanni. Right now. I’m serious. Put me down. Giovanni!”
Ignoring her, I opened the door to my car, and put her in.
“Giovanni, don’t you dare drive, or I swear to God-”
I followed her into the car, sitting next to her. I hadn’t intended on driving her out of the club, and leaving her friend.
I simply wanted to get her out of there.
“Listen, princess. If I had taken the time to listen to you, then I wouldn’t be where I am. So, if you would kindly shut up, and not open that pretty mouth of yours, I will take you back.”
“How did you know we were going to be here?”
“I didn’t. I was at the club with my brother and friends. I saw you walking in, and came down to check up on you. You are not the kind of woman who goes to clubs, Val. So, what the fuck are you doing here? In that fucking dress too. Do you have any idea how many men were fucking staring at you? Do you know what they were thinking? No, of course, not. Because, you are a stupid woman,

who has no idea what the fuck she is doing, or getting herself into. You could have gotten yourself
into some serious trouble, and you didn’t even have a clue. Dressing like you want to be fucked and laid, and having the guts to tell me off, is the stupidest thing you have ever done, Val. This is not your kind of environment, and I told you to stay away.”
“Why? Is it because you care or you just want to fuck me again so you can get your fill, and go back to pretending that I don’t exist? Huh? Or, do you really want me to stay away, because you don’t trust yourself around me?”
She slurred, pushing her breast forward.
“Shut up, Val. You have no idea what the fuck you are saying, and it’s not the time for us to be
having this conversation.”
“When will the time be, then? Because all I can see is the lust written all over your face. You just
want to fuck me, right? Then do it. I fucking dare you.”
Her eyes were hooded as she started to remove her red lacy thong from underneath her dress.
Fuck.
My c**k was already hard, and my wolf was begging to come out.
He wanted her, and needed her.
But, not like this.
Not when she was drunk, and didn’t know what she was doing.
Not when she wasn’t in her right mind, and was not thinking straight.
I wasn’t going to fuck her again, and let her leave like the last time. Sober Valerie wouldn’t give in so easily, but drunk Valerie was a different story.
This woman was going to be the death of me.
“You don’t know what you’re doing, Val. You are drunk, and not thinking clearly. Put your panties back on, and stop. It’s not the time.”
“I know exactly what I’m doing. You have been a d**k, and now, it’s my turn. You can’t tell me what to do, or what not to do. Stop thinking about yourself, and just focus on me. Do it, Giovanni. Just fucking do it. Make me scream your name, and let’s see who breaks first.”
“You don’t want to play with me, Val. Because, you’ll lose. I’m not afraid to take what is mine.”
“Since you won’t let me get laid by another man, you’ll have to do. So, why don’t you get out of that seat, and fuck me. That’s the reason you took me away, isn’t it? So, I’m giving you what you want,

and that’s sex.”
“No. I didn’t take you away to fuck you, princess. Is that what you think of me? Put your panties back on, Valerie. I’m going to bring Hailey, and then I’m taking you back home. Don’t tell me Liam is all alone at home?” I asked, hoping they wouldn’t be that careless.
She huffed, trying to find her thing wherever she had thrown it. “We found him a sitter. We aren’t stupid, Giovanni.”
I rolled my eyes, and sighed.
Of course, I would be worried.
She was not making this easy, and the longer she was here, the harder it would be to resist her.
“Stay here, and don’t go anywhere. I’m going to find Hailey and take you both home. Remember, we
can’t risk Dominic taking her home and finding out about Liam.”
She waved her hand, and leaned back.
“Just hurry up.”
“Don’t tell me what to do.”
