CHAPTER SIXTY–FIVE–1
HAILEY
Later in the evening, I was finally getting off my shift and was about to call Dominic. But, when I heard the doors open and closed, I turned around.
It was Yasmine.
I raised my eyebrows, and took a deep breath.
Of course, she had to be here.
Yasmine looked at me, and folded her arms. She slowly walked towards me, and stopped. “Tell me, Hailey. Do you really think Dominic would choose you? Out of everyone, out of all the women he has, do you really think you have a chance?”
I rolled my eyes, and shook my head.
“Look, Yasmine. I don’t know what your deal is, but I’m not caught up for your games, okay? Go find someone else to torment.”
“You are so naive, Hailey. Do you honestly think Dominic would ever choose you? You’re a fool, and the sooner you realize that, the better. You think I don’t know that you fucked him? Forced yourself on a married man? You’re no saint, Hailey. You’re just as dirty and evil as the rest of us.”
“Leave.”
She smirked. “You’re not worth fighting for, Hailey. And I’m here to warn you. Stay away from my husband. Stop trying to ruin what he and I have, and stop interfering. You had your chance, and it’s over. It’s not happening, and if you even think about taking him away from me, then I will make your life miserable. You’re nothing but a lowlife whore who can’t let go, and move on. But, you’re not going to come in between what Dominic and I have, and if you think you are, then you’re dead wrong.”
“You can’t have children, can you? That’s why he cheated on you, right? Because you couldn’t have children?”
Her face turned red, and she was getting angrier. I knew it was the pettiest move I could pull, but if this woman has caused me years long pain and a broken heart, this didn’t even begin to compare.
“You little bitch! How dare you?”

“That’s why you’re always so hot and bothered when you see him with another woman, because you know once he fucks them, they might pop up early his baby. Who knows, I might even be carrying his seed right now… Or oops, I already did. And he’s strong and thriving. Maybe you’re a cold and dead womb, that can’t have a child. Who knows? It’s probably best that you didn’t have a baby. Which child would ever want to come from such a heartless mother like you?”
Her hand came flying, but before she could even touch me, my reflexes kicked in, and I
dodged.
I smirked. “Is that all you’ve got? Really, Yasmine. If you wanted to fight, you could have done a better job. Maybe you should ask your husband for a few tips, or maybe a quick lesson.”
“You… You have a son for Dominic?”
And the cat was out of the bag. I was so angry that I didn’t even realize when I said, but at this point, I didn’t even care.
“Well, that’s the real question, isn’t it? You might never know, and the suspense will drive you mad. Just like it drove me.”
“I will fucking kill you!”
She jumped on me, but I quickly dodged her.
I was so angry, and all the resentment was coming out.
“Is this what it takes for you to feel important? To bully the people who you feel intimidated by, and put them in their place? Is that the only way you feel worthy? Because let’s be honest, the only thing you’ve ever achieved was seducing a married man. You were the other woman. The slut who broke up a marriage, and destroyed a family. That’s the only thing that you’ll ever be known for. The woman who had an affair with the Alpha. That’s all you’ll ever be. It doesn’t matter if you both are married or not. You’ll always be the side piece, and never the main woman.”
“He loves me!”
“He’s using you.”
“You’re jealous. Admit it, Hailey. You’re so in love with him, and you can’t take the fact that he chose me. He loved me enough to leave you and marry me. He was so disgusted by your lies, that he couldn’t stay. You were ugly and fat, and no one could have ever wanted you. And look at you, now. You’re just a pathetic and miserable, lonely woman, who is so desperate that she can’t even let go. But guess what, Hailey? He will never be yours. Not even in a million years.”

“You have no chance, Hailey. And trust me, you’ll be sorry that you ever messed with me.”
“You’re a pathetic woman, Yasmine. Do you think I’m scared of you? Do you really think your threats will work on me? I was once the Alpha female, and the wife of the Alpha. And you have to have seen how your husband was begging to be inside of me again. How crazed and desperate he was when we fucked. How he couldn’t get enough of me and wanted more. How he moaned and begged for me to fuck him. You will never be able to satisfy him, and that is eating you up. Because deep down, you know that it’s me. It has always been me. He will always come back, and you will always be left behind.”
“You fucking bitch!”
She tried to attack me again, and this time, I wasn’t going to run. I wasn’t going to back down, and I was going to stand my ground.
When her hands were about to hit my face, I dodged. And before she could get a second chance, I punched her, and she stumbled back.
“Fuck!”
“Don’t ever touch me, you fucking psycho!”
I went to kick her, but the moment she fell, the doors opened.
“What the fuck is going on here?”
We both stopped, and turned to the door.
Dominic was there, standing and glaring.
His gaze shifted to Yasmine, and his anger amplified. Liam was standing next to hi, and immediately rushed to me, clutching my leg.
“Go inside my office, baby. I’ll be there soon.”
“Are you okay, Mommy?”
“Yes, baby. I’m fine. Now go.”
I watched as he reluctantly went to my office, and when the door was closed, I turned to Dominic who was glaring down at Yasmine.

“Get out.” He growled at her.

Yasmine glared at him. “So, now you’re defending her? You’re going to pick her over me?”
“Get the fuck out, Yasmine.”
“What, Dominic? What are you going to do if I don’t leave?”
He went to her, and grabbed her arm.
She tried to get free, but he held onto her tightly. “I give you five seconds to take your bag and go home. Now, Yasmine.”
“When were you going to tell me you had a son with this bitch?” Her voice cracked.
“Now, Yasmine. Go.”
“So, it’s true? You really have a son with her?”
He said nothing.
“Fuck you, Dominic. You fucking asshole! Don’t even bother coming home.”
She pushed him, and stomped off.
He stood there, and didn’t even watch as she left.
Once she was gone, he turned to me, and his eyes were full of rage.
“I knew Yasmine was crazy but, I never expected you to stoop so low and start a fight. What the fuck happened?”
“Your psychotic wife was here. She threatened me, and called me a pathetic bitch. I couldn’t take it, and I defended myself.”
“Are you fucking kidding me, Hailey? I was gone for a few hours, and you guys decide to act like children? How old are you guys, twelve? I thought you were mature, and were an adult. But, what happened was beyond childish, and ridiculous.”
“It’s not my fault, Dominic. I didn’t do anything. I didn’t approach her, and was minding my own business. She was the one who came and started insulting me. She tried to attack me first, but I was able to defend myself.”
“She attacked you first?”
“Yes. So, before you decide to put the blame on me, and accuse me of starting something, know that she was the one who did.”

CHAPTER SIXTY–HYL 2
He didn’t say anything, and took a deep breath. “Look, I’m-”
I raised my hand up. “Save it, Dominic. I’ve had enough. I’m leaving.”
I went into my office, picked up my handbag and took Liam’s hand.
“I’m dropping you.” He said softly.
“No, thank you. I have my own car. I’m not leaving it here.”

“I’m not taking no for an answer. Please. One of my men will bring your car home. I just need to make sure you both are safe.”
I sighed, and looked at him. He didn’t look like he was going to back down. “Fine.”
He nodded, and picked Liam up.
