Therapy is great, certainly better than the old days when the healers would tie people up and flog them until they came to their senses or completely lost their senses.

I expected Kingston to chicken out or simply not participate in therapy, but he was great, he did better than my dad, at least his logic made some sort of sense. The sex therapist might have worked wonders by asking me to flash him because he hasn’t stopped staring at me since.

He may not have said much on the drive back home but his eyes said plenty, there’s a familiar longing in his eyes which is almost feral. He didn’t leave the house until late this evening, and I felt very much prayed on because every step I took, he was right around the corner. I got a break from his stares when he and Rowan went out for a few minutes, but the moment he returned, he was back at it. We made it past lunch, and dinner is about to be served in a few minutes, but I don’t want it, not until I get dessert.

Noah and I are just returning from our walk in the garden when I spot Rowan alone. “My Noah..”

“I’m going upstairs,” I tell her.

“Okay, I’m going to bed early, this migraine is giving me hell.” She frowns. “Wake me when you...”

“I’m not coming back,” I say, my lips twitching with a satisfied smile. I don’t even try to hold it back. “I’m staying with Kingston tonight, and if all goes well? Then no more sleepovers.”

“Aww,” she pouts. “I’m so happy for you,” She giggles. “Go,” she nods towards the stairs. “Get that dick!” She squeals, pausing when she realises she is yelling. “Too much?” She asks, looking somewhere over my shoulder to where Rowan is sitting.

She rolls her eyes, “Later, my baby.”

“Behave,” I warn, jogging up the stairs.
