Chapter 201 Thinking About A Second Kid
The scruffy dog darted over, barking furiously at WreckMe.
WreckMe scooped up Dumbo, which only made him bark even louder.
His eyes were wild, almost zombie-like, and he let out a low, menacing growl.
Even the folks watching the stream jumped in surprise.
One commented: [Damn. Dumbo is still trying to take WreckMe down.]
Another commented: [Can you stop with the tongue twisters? Dumbo is seriously fierce!]
One comment read: [Isn’t that a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel? He looks a bit scruffy, but clean him up, and he’d be pretty cute. How’d he end up like this?]
A comment read: [Because Dumbo only lets WreckMe touch him, and he only bites WreckMe. Wreck Me’s the one who gives him his haircut, so of course it looks bad.]
One commented: [Sounds like a tongue twister.]
WreckMe glanced at the chat comments and couldn’t help but let out a long sigh.
He asked, “Sierra, did you see that clearly? If not, I can show you again.”
With that, WreckMe started to put Big Ears back on the ground, ready to repeat the whole thing.
Sierra gave a wry smile and said, “No need, I saw everything just fine.”
By now, Dumbo had calmed down and was back to being a well-behaved, scruffy little pup.
Dumbo tilted his head at the screen and let out a couple of soft barks. It said, “Hi, pretty girl. Did you enjoy the performance
I just did with my owner? If you did, tap that star and grab your fan badge!”
Sierra was speechless as well.
She thought, ‘Well, this dog must’ve been a social media influencer in his previous life.’
Sierra turned to WreckMe and said, “I think Dumbo is just acting. Back when you first started streaming and didn’t have many viewers, he was probably just playing along, thinking that being fierce would help you get more fans.”
WreckMe just froze for a moment.
But in the next second, his eyes welled up.
One commented: [Wait, why did WreckMe suddenly start crying?]
Another commented: [Sierra’s totally right. Back when he started, WreckMe was only making about 1200 bucks a month. He mentioned on stream that his whole family loves dogs. They’d even pick up strays during walks.
[Now they’ve got over fifty dogs at home, and Dumbo is WreckMe’s absolute favorite.]
One commented: [Dumbo really brought WreckMe good luck. It feels like WreckMe’s stream only started blowing up after Dumbo started showing up.]
A comment read: [Wait, so Dumbo acts like this just to help WreckMe get more viewers?]
WreckMe looked at the comments and just lost it, bursting into tears.
He sobbed, “Sierra, I never realized it until you pointed it out. My gaming journey was anything but smooth. Back then, the company made me stream six hours a day and bring in at least ten grand in revenue every day.
“But I was just a rookie, never even played in a real tournament, and nobody was watching my stream at all. One day, I was playing with Dumbo on stream, and he put on this fierce act, and suddenly, my channel just blew up.
“After that, every time I let Dumbo ‘attack’ me, the views just kept climbing. Even though I got more and more popular, if it wasn’t for Dumbo, I’d just be another regular salaryman, not good at anything, not good at singing or dancing either.”
With that, WreckMe scooped Dumbi up, burying his face in the pup’s fur, tears and snot smearing everywhere.
But Dumbi didn’t mind one bit. He just sat there patiently, letting WreckMe hug him without a single complaint.
It even let out a couple of soft barks to comfort WreckMe. It said, “Hey, don’t be sad. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have made it this far or tasted all those delicious treats.
“Even if you’re short on cash, I’d never leave you. If you’re eating veggies, I’ll settle for soup. If you’re only drinking soup, I’ll go out and find scraps to help take care of you.”
WreckMe totally broke down, crying even harder as the words sank in.

He sobbed, “Why are you so sweet to me, baby?”
Dumbo replied, “Because you’re the best.”
After that, WreckMe and Dumbo kept trying to talk to each other, even though neither really understood what the other was saying. But for everyone watching, it was just heartwarming: a pure, feel-good moment between a guy and his dog.
Even Payton and Solomon couldn’t help but get misty-eyed watching the stream.
Payton sniffled, “This is just too sweet. Sierra, if you ever end up broke, I will sell my clothes to support you. And if I run out of outfits, I’ll go star in movies to keep you fed!”
Payton wiped his tears, thinking, ‘Dumbi is just way too innocent.
‘Dogs like him are all over TV these days, but he has no clue he could be making easy cash online. Instead, he’s out there digging through trash.
‘But me? I’m a genius husky. No way I’m dumpster diving like that.
‘Just look at Rusty in all those hit TV shows lately. He’s got more famous roles than most celebrities.
‘With all the money he’s made over his whole doggy lifetime, he could totally set Sierra up for life. She’d never have to worry about a thing.’.
Solomon chimed in, “Sierra, if you ever go broke, I’ll jump through flaming hoops for tourists and beg for beef. I promise I’ll never let you go hungry.”
Payton and Solomon were howling and roaring at the top of their lungs, and honestly, it was even more touching than WreckMe and Dumbo’s scene in the stream.
One commented: [Every time I watch Sierra, it’s like these animals have leveled up IRL. Are Payton and Solomon actually saying they’ll support Sierra?]
Another commented: [Animal feelings are so pure. When I was sick, my kitten actually rummaged through her kibble and put some on my bed. Ever since, she has never finished her food. She always leaves a few pieces behind.]
A comment read: [Yeah, because in your kitten’s mind, those few kibbles are her way of making sure you survive. She must’ ve been so scared when you were sick. Make sure to give her some extra cuddles!]
After WreckMe had cried her heart out, Sierra finally signed off.
The next person to come on the line was a well-groomed man. He greeted Sierra with polite manners.
Sierra asked, “Hello, is there anything I can help you with?”
The young man shook his head quickly and said, “No, not really.”
One commented: [What? If you don’t have anything to ask, don’t take up the stream time! Sierra hardly ever goes live. Can you let us pet parents, the cat slaves and dog slaves, have a chance instead?]
Seeing that the chat was all roasting the man, Sierra said, “Hey guys, let’s not go after our guest, okay?”
Then she turned to the young man and said, “Sir, if you really don’t have any questions, I’ll go ahead and end the call now.”
The young man called out in a panic, “Hold on, wait!”
Sierra immediately paused what she was doing.
The camera only caught half of the guy’s backside as he squirmed around.
One commented: [What’s he doing?]
Another commented: [I think I heard a cat meowing.]
One commented: [Is that a cat hissing?]
One comment read: [Sierra, don’t hang up! If history’s anything to go by, this is gonna be another heartwarming story.]
The comments kept flying by, and finally, the guy’s face popped back into view.
Right beside him was a Maine Coon, head tilted up and hissing at him like a rattlesnake.
And on the man’s arm, one could see a few fresh, long scratch marks.
The man sounded totally defeated as he asked, “Sierra, since you already have a dog, would you even want a cat if I handed one over?”
Payton thought, ‘Wait, are we getting a second kid now? Did anyone even ask me about this?’
