Beast Tamer's Rebirth National Treasure Edition novel Chapter 236

Chapter 236 Go To Hell

When the Thalasian police got the tip, they were stumped for a second: who the heck was Sierra? But then it hit them: wasn’t she that infamous thief from Hustralia who’d just swiped a tiger?

And now, she was actually calling them herself, basically turning herself in without a care.

After tracking her down, they saw she really was at Tiger Haven. The squad car tore off toward the place, sirens wailing. It was still twenty minutes before opening time, but tourists were already lined up outside, waiting to get in. The keepers were getting dressed and letting the tigers out of their enclosures.

Meanwhile, Sierra and her crew had already picked the lock without anyone noticing, snapping photos of every shred of evidence in the room.

Meanwhile, Lucas was feeling pretty satisfied after a good nap when his phone suddenly rang: it was the police.

“Mr. Terrell, please be careful. Sierra never left. She’s back. Stay in your room and don’t come out. We’re almost there,” the officer warned.

Lucas froze for a moment, stunned.

Realizing what was happening, he rushed out of his room straight to the one with all the animal specimens.

Sure enough, the door was already wide open.

Sierra was casually leaning against the glass display case, a smirk playing on her lips as she watched him.

“Long time no see, Lucas,” she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Lucas’s face went ghostly pale. He quickly told the police on the phone, “Don’t come. I’ll handle this myself.”

Inside the room, Sierra slowly walked toward Lucas, her eyes glinting with mischief.

She sneered, “What’s the matter, Mr. Terrell? Aren’t you the one who called the police to hunt us down and labeled us as thieves? If I’m the real criminal and I don’t even flinch, what are you so scared of, as the supposed victim?

“Or is it those tigers you skinned and dumped in jars of formaldehyde that keep you up at night? Worried they’re gonna claw their way back out for revenge?”

Lucas snapped the call off, silencing Sierra before she could throw anything else at the cops.

Right now, he was a bundle of nerves, his heart pounding in his chest.

He’d always thought Sierra had already slipped back to Hustralia, but who could’ve guessed she’d hit him with a sneak attack on such a regular day?

If it were nighttime, he could’ve just finished them off without a second thought.

But with tourists everywhere outside, if Sierra or any of her crew made a break for it, the whole Tiger Haven operation would go up in smoke.

But before Lucas could even process what was happening, a keeper came frantically running over.

The moment he saw Sierra, his eyes narrowed in alarm. He quickly said in Thalasian, “Bad news! Two Hustralians are making trouble at the entrance. I think they’re with Sierra.”

The keeper pointed at Sierra, swallowing nervously.

Even though they were just small fry, they knew things were getting serious now.

Lucas’s face turned white as a sheet, too stunned to say a single word.

Meanwhile, Timothy and Alex were causing a commotion at the entrance of Tiger Haven.

This was all part of Sierra’s plan. Once the crowd at the gate started swelling, they were supposed to kick up a fuss right in the thick of it.

Their goal? To turn the place upside down and let everyone know exactly what was going on.

Timothy yelled, “This Tiger Haven is hurting tigers and operating illegally.

“Lucas’s whole cancer story is a lie! All those hospital certificates he posted online are totally doctored. There’s no record of him in the hospital’s system for the past ten years.

“We didn’t steal Kiki, the baby tiger. Kiki made I Successfully unlocked! ere about to kill him. We got there just in time

and rescued him.

“We’re standing here in front of all of you today because we’ve got proof!

“Our captain is inside right now, and she’s found stacks of tiger pelts, plus all sorts of tiger teeth and organs.

“If you don’t believe us, why not come in and see for yourselves!”

Timothy sounded so confident that the crowd started to murmur, eyes wide with curiosity.

Alex jumped in, “You ever wonder why these tigers just let tourists pet them? It’s because they’re drugged up with sedatives every single day. They’re so out of it, they can barely move!

“And because of all those drugs, most of them don’t even live past five!

“But this place calls itself a haven. If the tigers keep dying, people will start asking questions. So what do they do? They just sneak in new tigers to cover it up!”

As Alex kept talking, he and Timothy forcefully pushed past the keepers who tried to block their way.

Ever since they’d started working with Sierra and Sophie, they’d been going all out in training every single day, just to make sure they didn’t fall behind.

They still weren’t quite on Sierra and Sophie’s level, but when it came to dealing with a few keepers, they could handle it without breaking a sweat.

The keepers were knocked to the ground, and before they could scramble back up to stop anyone, the tourists had already swarmed in.

Hot on their heels were the cops, scrambling to nab Sierra.

Alex caught the sound of sirens and saw the police closing in, so he and Timothy cranked up the volume to make sure

everyone

heard them.

They bolted ahead while the cops gave chase, but the crowd was packed so tight that the Thalasian police couldn’t squeeze through or grab anyone. All they could do was trail behind the swarm of tourists.

In the back room, Sierra heard the crowd getting louder and shot Lucas a look. She said, “Well, Lucas, did you ever imagine payback would hit you this fast?”

As she spoke, Sierra pulled out her phone and fired up her go-to Hustralian streaming app.

It’s been a month since Sierra last went live, but now, she was finally back on stream.

Her fans got the notification and jumped into the stream right away.

Everyone thought Sierra would finally come clean about being wanted in Thalasia, but surprise: she was still streaming from Thalasia all along.

She never even went back home!

One commented: [Wait, Sierra, you’re still in Thalasia?]

Another commented: [You little brat, you had us all worried sick. You disappeared for a whole month, didn’t post on social media, and I went to the zoo so many times, but never saw you. Do you know how worried we’ve been?]

Someone commented: [Quickie’s recovering really well after his surgery, and Solomon misses you like crazy. He saved all the veal he won from the fire hoop trick just for you, but by the time the keeper found it, it had already gone bad.]

One commented: [Sierra, we already know all about the Thalasia stuff, and we’ve been following you way before the Thalasian cops even knew your name. People can argue all they want online, but your fans always believe in you, no matter what!]

Another commented: [So, Sierra, are you going live with a big reveal?]

Sierra glanced at the flood of comments, then swung her camera around to put Lucas front and center.

With a playful smirk, she said, “Looks like you guys already know what I’m about to do.”

She paused for effect, then continued, “So next up, I’m going to livestream how Lucas, the founder of Tiger Haven, joined forces with mad scientist Carlos, how they slaughtered tigers, and how they managed to fool tourists from all over the globe. Let me break it down for you real quick.”

While Sierra was still talking, Timothy and Ryan had already arrived with a crowd of tourists in tow.

The cops trailing behind saw what was happening and instinctively froze, staring blankly at Sierra, completely lost as to what she would do next.

Sierra turned to Lucas, who looked like a total mess, and asked, “Mr. Terrell, you ready for your one-way ticket to hell?”
