Biker's Claim The Broken Angel is Mine (Cora and Jake) novel Chapter 113

Chapter 113

Gunner POV

Hope Cora has a good night tonight, and visiting Jake before he leaves isn’t too hard, and gives her the closure she is chasing.

This will be like closing one door for good, and opening the other, which contains Demetri and me, fingers

crossed, that it will also be the start of her accepting me, as someone to trust. I have tried to show Cora

that I would never betray her or deliberately hurt her in every way I could think of. Now it was up to her. I

don’t know what else to do to show her how much she means to me.

Oddball wanted me to man the doors, no uninvited guests to this party, as they celebrated the news that the president was going to be a father. He was also going to inform them he had moved out of the clubhouse, for the baby’s sake, too much stress going on, with the club, and the risk of miscarriage was still high. I think it would break his heart to lose the baby. He was so looking forward to being a dad. I never saw him this giddy with excitement, not since he gave Strike a cut.

Two prospects were assigned to the door: one holding a list of invited names, and one not on the list or not a club member; then you don’t make it through the door. The other lad was to assist me in escorting those who fight to get in, not that I need help, but while one of us is escorting someone away, the other will be at the door assisting the other.

First, I grabbed something to eat and a bottle of water. No alcohol for me tonight; I must stay on my game, and getting a little tipsy was not acceptable. Oddball was giving me hell for drinking at the door. Then I set up the last one, the door, putting up barriers that the visitors have to walk through to get inside. If someone isn’t a club member, we’ll give them a sash to wear so we can all know they are on the list. No sash or member, you are out the door. Will have to find Demetri and give him a sash. He will need one, as he is not yet a recognised member. I am hoping to make him one soon. He won’t need to go through the prospect stage, being family. Oddball hasn’t yet confirmed how he will handle Demetri’s inclusion in the

club.

Ladies had set up decorations, with a huge congratulations banner over the bar, trestles loaded with food, and the bar was free tonight. I expect it to get rowdy as the night wears on. Will most likely have drunks asleep on the ground, things might get a bit randy too, as men and women lose their inhibitions, and hands loose. Yep, a long night ahead of me.

The list wasn’t that long, and most arrived early. Once all names on the list were accounted for, I sent a prospect to the gate to help them close them; this may help prevent unauthorised people from getting in. The prospects cheered when I relieved them of door duty, and I stood just inside, watching the party

unfold.

Demetri was there, his eyes tracking Scones each time she came into the room, and I didn’t fail to notice that her eyes hunted him down, and a blush bloomed on her cheeks. Yep, they will be a couple, I bet my bike on it. They need a little push in the right direction; both appear unsure how to progress, will need to

talk to Cora later, see what we can come up with, maybe invite them out to dinner, and leave them with Machellie’s serenading; they will love being part of getting two people who obviously like each other to

take that step.

As the night wore on, and the crowd slowly went home, I found myself, half carrying drunks to someone

more comfortable, or at least out of the way; I didn’t want someone tripping over them. Soon, only club members were left in the hall. It had turned out to be a peaceful night of celebrating, which made it easier

for me, a long night all the same.

The sun was starting to change the sky to dull greys. As the dawn approached, I was the only one walking around; the rest were long gone to bed. I hopped on my bike and headed to the hospital to collect Cora.

I sat on my bike, watching the comings and goings, as I waited for Cora to arrive. The hospital was always busy, day and night. I can’t remember the last time the carpark had no cars in it, or the waiting room was

empty.

At last, Cora came out, looking tired, her eyes brightening when she saw me, and her step quickened, and she threw herself at me when she reached a few steps away.

Omph.” I exhaled in surprise, not expecting Cora to rush me like that.

Tell me you had a good night,Cora begged before I captured her lips, silencing her questions and getting what I had yearned for most of the night, as I watched others enjoy their partners.

I need you,I whispered between kisses.

Me too. It will have to be quick. I have three ladies coming for an interview at ten. Can we have a quickie and then dinner? I am starved.

Cora was on the back in no time, and I sped home, faster than the limit, parked the bike and together raced upstairs, fortunately passing no one as we came in the back way, and up the stairs. I had Cora stripped and had her in the bed, faster than you can sing a song, my jeans on the floor, next to hers.

You’re soaked, been thinking about me, Babe?I asked, as I rubbed my engorged member up and down the moist area between her legs.

r

Yes, been watching the clock since lunchtime,” Cora said between kisses as she peppered my chest with her lips and ran her nails over my skin. The sensation of her lips, combined with the slight pain she caused with her nails, had me harder on the concrete.

I couldn’t wait to make her ready. I was too close to exploding. What this woman was doing to me was

insane.

I pushed my shaft into her warm channel, and she thrust up, hard against my hips.

My baby wants hard and fast, does she?Cora didn’t reply with words; she thrust her hips up against me again and dug her nails into my shoulders, and her heels pushed against my butt. So needy, my woman, I didn’t think that after working all night, she would be this way. I like that Cora is not afraid to ask for what she wants, or should I say demand. Because I felt I had little say since she came out of the hospital, I was
