Biker's Claim The Broken Angel is Mine (Cora and Jake) novel Chapter 132

Chapter 132

Cora POV

The public bathroom was the last place I would have thought! would have had sex, like ever. I was mortified when that woman entered, and then she must have enjoyed what we were doing so much that she gave herself a release. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough, and I was relieved when we could help prepare the food and coffee. I needed something to take my mind off it. My lady parts were still tingling from it.

What does that make me?

Am I shameless now?

As low as the girls who do it in the club rooms where everyone can see it?

Watching others does nothing for me; I was never into movies that had a lot of intercourse in them, and I guess the bathroom was private, wasn’t it?

Coffee and food, that’s what I have now in front of me. I took a sip of the coffee, warm, hot and strong, just what I needed, as I sorted out my thoughts on what just happened, ashamed that I had hardly tried to resist him. Once he started on all my sensitive areas, I was gonna. All the thoughts about where we were, having that intimate moment, didn’t hit me again till that woman walked in and sent me over the edge, from being caught.

‘Don’t think about it, Cora, just move on, as you do with everything else in life, and focus on the positives.’ ! thought to myself.

We sat under a tree, watching the crowd slowly drift in and collect food. The workers didn’t stop from the moment they arrived, cooking and keeping the Bain Marie full, refilling the coffee pots, and refilling the paper cups with sugar and milk. A few thanked the servers and cooks, but most just grunted, complained that the day had come too soon, or had their heads still thumping from the bass drum.

It was a shame that so few people had thanked the volunteers who kept the food chain going; they should be recognised for their work. I was told most were locals, and they enjoy coming and being part of the fun, even if they spend most of the time doing the thankless job. It doesn’t cost you anything to be friendly and polite.

“Morning, did you have a good time yesterday and last night?” Oddball asked as he sat on the grass next

to us.

“It was lovely, enjoyed watching the activities, a real eye opener, and the music was great, and I liked that anyone could go up and sing, not just the planned bands,” I replied, looking at my now empty plate and wishing more bacon would miraculously appear.

“There are some games this morning; one you might like is the apple one.”

“Apple?”

“They thread string through apples, and hang them on a rope, one person on the shoulders of another, the one on the shoulders, has to try and eat the apple, without falling, it’s harder than it sounds, you need a good, strong, solid person holding the other, and the one trying for the apple, needs to not be jerky at

chasing the apple, it’s a skill all of it’s own, and once you tumble down, you are out of the event, it’s fun to watch, if you don’t want to participate.” Strike explained, and it sounded like fun.

“Are we staying for some games, or hitting the road?” Gunner asked as he, too, looked at his empty plate.

Scones had got up and returned with more food, which she then placed on Gunner’s and my plates.

“I saw your hungry look, so I thought you might like a refill. Would you like some more coffee too?” Scones said, and my heart melted even more for this thoughtful lady.”

“You don’t need to wait on us, Scones.” Gunner was quick to say as he picked up a rasher of bacon and popped it into his mouth.

Scones shrugged, left for the food service area, returned with a pot of coffee, filled everyone’s cups, including her own, and took the coffee pot back to the service area. No one even blinked as Scones took the pot and returned it.

“Thank you,” I said, remembering my manners, a little late, but was shocked that Scones hadn’t thought twice about serving us. I was going to have to break that habit; she’s been in the kitchen too long. I didn’t mind, but no, she’s not our maid or personal cook.

“I would like to watch that game. Can we leave later?” Scones asked as she settled back down next to Dad.

“We will leave around ten, that gives us plenty of time for dinner when we reach home.” Oddbali smiled at Scones as she clapped her hands in joy.

“Deme, think you can hold on to me while I eat an apple?” The way Scones said it had me laughing; it was not that simple, but the description of the event.

“You bet, I won’t let you fall,” Dad replied with that sparkle in his eyes that’s reserved just for Scones.

“Deme?” Oddball and Strike both simultaneously asked, looking at Deme with a smirk, guess that will stick

now.

As a group, we moved to the games area, not a lot of people around yet, most either eating or sleeping off last night’s booze. However, there was still enough around to start the game, six pairs, with Scones and Demetri choosing in outer Apple. Scones suggested an outer one, then only have one side that can collapse and accidentally fall on you; it made sense. They were all in line, waiting for the signal to move forward and start attacking the apple. I pulled out my phone and took some pictures, and then decided to try and take a video, not sure how good it will be with them moving about, never tried like this before, the last video I took was from a doorway, and didn’t need to film a moving target, which will not be moving like today.

‘Stop if Cora, and focus on here and now.’ I growled at myself for comparing the past again. ‘Wish the past would stay in the past!

“Go!” Came the shout, and the bystanders started shouting out names to cheer them on.

Oddbail, Strike, and Gunner were shouting out from the sidelines. Dad was good at this game; he planted his legs on the ground and leaned forward a little, his hands holding firmly on Scone’s thighs, his concentration on holding Scones keeping her in place as she tries to eat the apple, most of the others had their hands behind their back, where Scones had hers on her thighs, the rules only said your hands can’t

touch the apple or string, where they placed there after that was their choice. It was clear that Scones had Jone this before, and after a few missed bites of the apple, she managed to get her first successful bite, and then the rest became easier, having something to grip with her teeth. Two competitors crash to the floor, the girls on top, Tosing their balance, making it harder for the man holding them up, who is too busy laughing at missing the apples. More spectators arrived and started cheering. Dad wobbled once when Scones tried to reach for the apple, and it bounced off her face She tried to chase it, and it put Dad off balance. I saw him dig his hands into her thighs, which made Scones stiffen briefly, but it was enough for Dad to get his balance back. Scones to concentrate again on the job at hand. Another couple fell, taking one of the others with them, leaving just Scones and one other competitor; the competition just got more intense.

Cheers got louder as the spectators chose sides; it was neck and neck. Just when I thought the other couple was going to win, the girl moved unexpectedly to the left, trying to chase the last bite of the apple, but only managed to make the man wobble and topple over. He was exhausted from holding onto the girl, and her last attempt was all he had left in him. She missed the apple completely, making Scones and Dad the winners. Scones continued until the apple was deemed sufficiently eaten to be called done.

Dad lowered Scones to the floor carefully. He was covered in sweat from the exertion, but had a huge beaming smile, not because he had won, although that was part of it, but more the way Scone’s smile lit up her face, and the big smooch that she rewarded him with.

“Stop sharing that apple with Demetri,” Gunner called out, as the smooch went on longer than expected.

Chuckles went around the crowd, understanding that it reached me a little late, at what Gunner had meant.

Yuck.
